Was recommended to stop by here while I was in town. I wasn't extremely impressed. The jalapeño sausage & beans were good. The ribs were good but really small. Didn't care for the brisket & green beans. Wasn't the worse. 6/10 for me.

4 stars because of the food and not the service. I have been here a total of 3 times.The first time I came, the food was so delicious that I had to come back again.Unfortunately there were new cooks and the food was not good.Janice waited on us and is just the most delightful person I have ever met in my life.I decided to come back ONE more time,just because Janice was so wonderful.Luckily she was still there and waited on us and when I tell you she is the epitome of customer service I am not exaggerating. The food was disappointing as they only had 3 cheeseburgers and I needed 5 and the wait time would have been 45 minutes.Then when we received our cheeseburgers they were burnt to a crisp and tasted like charcoal.The guy at the front was very professional and made it up to us with a replacement. Overall the SERVICE and ATMOSPHERE are great, however please get the old cooks back!! I will give them one more try simply because of Janice.Kid-friendliness: Janice is so wonderful and makes you feel so welcomed.

Our Family's local go to for good food! Not traditional "bbq" in the NC sense, but GREAT bbq that you would expect anywhere in America. Food is definitely pricey and wish portion sizes were bigger, but the quality it TOP NOTCH and AMAZINGLY and CONSISTENTLY GOOD EVERY TIME!!!! Very Patriotic and love the theme/decor. Ms. Janice is always so sweet and welcoming and works her BUTT OFF! Wish they would add a fireplace or fire element inside. Love!!!
The customer service at this Mission BBQ is top notch! We visit every time we're in the area. Wish it could have been there when I was in grad school at ECU years ago! Thank you for supporting our armed forces and veterans ??

Mission BBQ never misses the mark. They are quite literally the complete package in everything you could ask for in an American restaurant. They don't have one thing bad on their menu, everything is great including their awesome store design. And not to mention their outstanding loyalty to America and those who serve in the military and in the police force, they are always honoring the heros who serve our nation and giving us top of the line BBQ.

My 1st time coming here after seeing this place for months was amazing! The beautiful 1st responder badges, military plaques and service medals are what make the place unique. Not to mention the 3 meat sampler with 2 sides is very fulfilling ?Parking: If your a veteran there are spots for those who have served up front!
