I am not sure why this place has 4.9 stars. Got food today to go and it was not very good. It seems like none of the food had salt on it. The tostones we're undercooked and definitely had no seasoning at all. The empanadas tasted like grocery store frozen steak and cheese cooked in a Pillsbury dough. The steak and pork tacos were dry and to top it all off, they forgot two of our tacos. I definitely will not be back and hope that service gets better in the future. I've had very good quality Latin American food. If the place was still open, I would highly recommend Villa Verde as a location to get food of much better quality. Definitely not worth the price.

We went here with our friend Bonnie who said it was a Mexican restaurant. It's Domican. We had castinetas, san cocho, yucca fries, empanadas and tacos. There's a hot counter of various prepared ingredients and a kitchen for fresh made -all was excellent. One of our party wanted hard shell or dorado tortillas for their tacos and the cook went and fried up the shells for her. Everything was very good.
So I heard about this place on word-of-mouth Greenville and when I tell you, they did not disappoint I mean just what I said. I think I have finally found my new go to place.
