There was a hair baked into the center of my waffle. When I presented this to the employee, he pulled the long, black hair out of the waffle, then immediately proceeded to lie to me about the hair being sugar. If it were sugar from the grill, it would’ve broken down and melted immediately when he grabbed it. Instead it was long, strong, and curly in the part that was embedded in the waffle. The employee provided a lengthy explanation that he claimed was scientific, but my advanced degree in science indicated it was all BS.

Place was clean, but pretty small. They had no TP in the bathroom. Aside from that, it's a pretty decent breakfast that's served all day long. Waffles were delicious, the coffee was phenomenal, but the hash browns -- less so. You also don't get a whole lot for your money. We spent over $40 for two people which was unexpected for breakfast. We did order an additional dish, but we needed it to be able to leave full.

Dont expect getting a refund for something you didn't order to be easy. I mentioned that the cost was more than I normally pay for the same thing, so he went back over what he charged me for and when I pointed out that he accidentally charged me for something I didn't order, he said he would refund my money, but to give him a minute bc he had to get his computer out. I thought that was strange but never the less My daughter and I waited for our food, ate, sat and talked -so we were there over 30 mins. I reminded his twice while we were there bc they were not busy at all, in fact he was just training another employee by pretending to be a customer so the new employee could practice taking orders. I finally got tired of waiting and was ready to leave when I mentioned it ONE more time. He said he would do the refund as soon as him laptop was charged more bc it was only on 1% and that I didnt need to wait. I've never been anywhere where they couldnt just do the refund at the same register where u scanned your card and paid. The whole laptop story and stalling was just a way to keep from refunding my money. Regardless, if he did need the laptop to do the refund, which he shouldnt, he had plenty of time to charge it and refund my money while I was there. I said this to him and two other employees who were standing there agreed with me. I literally had to turn into a Karen to get my money back, which was completely unnecessary. It's a shame that the new employee was being trained by someone so unprofessional and had to see that incident play out.

I really enjoyed the food, and the hashbrowns were tasty as well.I have one very silly complaint though, and it’s the tamper evident stickers that was used on my iced coffee lid I spent well over 10 minutes trying to get this tamper evident sticker off just to find sticky residue left behind right after. That is honestly my only suggestion and it’s not even about the flavor of the food ?
If you've never been here the easiest way to describe it is it's mini waffles topped with sweets. It was a little disappointing that I could only choose from the sewwt waffles for the dozen I ordered. I would have been ok with an upcharge for the "savory meals" options. Nonetheless there were alot of good options on the list. It's great to have this as a dessert option while you're uptown drinking it eating tapas somewhere close.

Amazing waffles. This was my second time going and both times i’ve gotten amazing food. The first time the wait was very long, however the food came out great and they gave me a green dozen voucher. We ordered all of the sweet waffles and loved every single one. Will definitely go again.
