on 3/14/19 - made 5 purchases at Tavern on 4th. For every real purchase they (or an individual) secretly charged another $4.99 on my card. Called my bank on 3/18 and filed a claim. Also called the Greenville police. Wonder how many don't catch this or just let it go. I call this fraud and theft. Taking advantage of college kids on the off chance they won't dispute it! I'll spend $1000 to prove a $25 point based on principle alone!

Went there 3/14/19. Made 5 individual purchases exceeding $5 minimum. For every purchase they charged a separate $4.99 without my knowledge. How many do they do this to who don't catch it? Fraud? Theft? Illegal? Stealing from college kids? Tried calling them but their phone # is actually a fax line. Give bar business a bad name!

4th & Tavern is pretty much your typical college bar but with a lot of space and live music. We came here on a Friday night on a game weekend and it was reasonably packed as we expected. It was easy enough to get in. There was a small line with a $6 cover which I thought was a weird number to go with. The front of the bar is partially outside so I believe that smoking is allowed out there. It smelled smoky when we walked in, anyway. Once you get into the bar it opens up pretty well. There is a stage in the very back for live music and plenty of other space to stand around elsewhere. Drinks are pretty cheap so it won't hurt your wallet too bad getting some drinks here. Overall, if you're in Greenville, I'd say try this place out.
