This place was laid back and dim lighted for a nice date. The food was good. The Cajun pasta was on point. The shrimp Po boy was good also. Our server was great he even went and found out if the shrimp were deveined, which they are for anyone wondering. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.

When we arrived, they were not busy. Only about 5 tables already had customers. We ordered drinks, food, and sat there for over an hour waiting. No food. Other tables with customers who came in at least 15 - 30 minutes after us, received their food. We finally had to find the waitress and ask about our food. It was still not ready. We said never mind and wanted our check. The waitress and manager first rang it up with the FULL meal on it for $59.79. So we had to wait again for our bill which was the drinks only. All the manager said was, you're going to have to pay for those drinks anyway. We weren't there for a free meal. Very unprofessional. We left, bought our own seafood, and went home and cooked it.

I loved the place. Music that lets you talk with your colleagues, very warm atmosphere and delicious food!!! Draft beer is very important and the attention is super careful. I recommend it 100%. Without a doubt we will return many more times!

I got the cheesesteak po boy 1st let me say I am from Philly Born and raised I am funny about my cheesesteak and I can say the have very good cheesesteaks with there own flavor to it. My lady got Cajun pasta, added shrimp, and chicken was very good. We will be dining there again.

My daughter and I shared the steak nachos as the appetizer.... it wasn't steak, it was those fake steakums. I ordered the steak sub.. again, it was those fake steakums. Her Burger was horrible. NONE of it was good....... My friends ordered breakfast, that included applebutter. They didn't bring it out with their order. And when my friends mentioned it, they brought out these prepackaged apple butters, like the packaged jelly you get at school...... this may not be an issue for others, but it is for me because this place has been toted as being great...it is not... it's right up there with McDonald's and Burger King.

I had to give an overall of 5 stars because the customer service was top tier! Today was my first time visiting! I ordered 2 orders of crab dip and a burger to go. Initially, when the dip came out, they portions didn't match, and I brought it to the server's attention. The manager came, and let's just say she made it more than right! She went above and beyond and I'm extremely grateful!!I went during lunch time, but the atmosphere felt like it has a pretty welcoming vibe, as it it situated near ECU!THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

I wasted 10 minutes driving here for lunch only to arrive and find that this business does not offer ONE SINGLE PARKING SPOT for its customers. What a joke. This is not New York, it’s a Podunk town in North Carolina.

I wanted to try thus resturant. I called this location after pulling them up as resturants near me. Ispoke with Kylee. I ordered 2 southwest chicken bowls. Listed on the menu below the voo doo shrimp. Sadly she told me they don't have that on the menuShe questioned if I was calling tge right resturants. She didn't offer any other option just sorry that isn't on our menu. Yes it is pn the menu.I won't bother again. Apparently they don't need the business.

The owner doesn't know what he is doing it only took me 4 hours to realize that he doesn't know how to run a restaurant blacken kraken is the most unorganized place I've ever worked at the owner knows nothing about the FDA or none of that he uses the same batter for chicken and seafood he fry's everything in the same oil I turned one job to take the Job here and after one shift I really hate that I made that decision

The food was excellent, the service was exceptional, and the server, Oscar, was very knowledgeable about the food and was helpful in the selection.

We came here for a work lunch and were charge a "large reservation fee" which I have no problem paying, but it was not credited to the bill, and have asked for a receipt for over three months now so that I can reconcile my work credit card, they refuse to call me/e-mail me back. This is the one of the worst experiences I have ever had from a restaurants upper management/owners.
