The Bodega Cafe is a great place to grab a snack, or a meal and chill with friends. The atmosphere is very chill the employees are friendly and the food is delicious. I especially love their music selections. 10/10 would recommend to someone new.

We looked for a healthy dinner on the road with our dog and this looked ideal, but it was really not for us. The menu looks great but they don't have the items with fresh veggies. They said they found the college students don't order healthy options but we eat on other campus towns and find fresh options. Beware even the unhealthy option of a steak quesadilla was disgusting, like the meat had a pasty consistency, no discernable texture of beef, and the whole thing was saturated in oil and tasted nasty. Did not eat. The chicken wings tasted pretty good but we picked off the feathers first. There are many bottled and canned beverages of all varieties you can buy for a fair price, and there is outdoor seating that is enjoyable. The women's room was a disaster no one was going to attend to so I used the men's room. The Bodega had a very limited inventory. They were very dog friendly and none of the food issues were the fault of the staff on site. It really is not a restaurant but we had limited alternatives with our dog along.

I haven't even tried my food yet, but I just left this place, and the owner was the most genuine cat I've met and was super generous. Excellent customer service, and the food looks amazing. I can't wait to get home and smash this footlong Philly cheese steak.
Okay now I'm going to edit my review, I just got home and this cheese steak was worth to drive.

My my my. Ordered this vegan chopped cheese. I was skeptical but no regrets were had either. Talk about yum, I’d give this sandwich a 8.5/10.
What would’ve made it a 11/10? Having a shaker with old Bay/Cajun seasoning to sprinkle on top of my sandwich. That would’ve taken it to a whole.nother.level.
I will definitely be back next time I’m in town and want something worth stopped for. 🤤

I recently visited the bodega and my experience was excellent. Having visited in the past, I consistently enjoy the warm and inviting atmosphere of the bodega. The layout is designed, to offer ample space for both browsing and relaxation. Whether inside or outside the building, there are lounge areas for visitors to hang out making it a great spot to unwind. For me, Bodgea's biggest draws are its unique beverage, food, and candy selection every visit I make sure to pick up a bottle of Everfresh juice my favorite. The customer service from the moment I stepped inside, was welcoming and created an inviting atmosphere. The bodega location in downtown Greenville makes it a convenient place to stop with the lively downtown setting creating a nice pairing. The Bodega is a fun place to relax with friends and enjoy unique food and beverages in lively downtown Greenville I give it 5 stars and will be back again.
