The Loft at Stilllife offers a charming ambiance and delightful place to enjoy times with friends, but unfortunately, our recent experience left us deeply disappointed. Despite our anticipation for a pleasant evening, our friend group, part of the LGBTQ community, encountered discrimination during our visit. Despite raising our concerns, the management failed to address the issue adequately. Therefore, we strongly encourage LGBTQ individuals and allies to avoid patronizing this establishment until they commit to resolving such issues with sincerity and inclusivity.

The Loft was captivating. I would revisit this establishment.

Very nice place like the atmosphere and fire pits.

If I could leave -0 stars I would. The bouncers are racist. My boyfriend had on timberlands (work boots) and a Caucasian guy in front of us had on the same boots. They would not left us in because he was African American. This place should be shut down, this is disturbing and absurd! I would not recommend at all if you are an African American guy. This is NOT okay!!!!!!!

Decided to step out this past weekend, didn’t get a chance to experience the atmosphere due to what I know to be racial profiling. Got in line and my fiancé was denied entry. Need I mind you he fits the stereotype description that most places here in the South deem as a problem upon entry. He had on a Tommy Hilfiger shirt with fashionable imitation rips on them that did not reveal skin. Also carrying a crossover male bag with, casual air force ones. I was dressed business casual and not given any doubt I could enter. Prior to us being up for entry, a older Caucasian couple were let in with no problem. They literally had just left ECU game and the corny rental cop checking ids made cute gestures to them. Asking them were they ID real and etc., they all shared corny laughs. The woman had on definite gear that wasn’t business casual. The man had on a ECU long sleeve tshirt, cargo shorts, sneakers, and a dirty ball cap. So see this is where my problem stemmed from. As we were denied entry several kids were in line at stilllife with some of the same attire on. So me being the professional I am, I PMThe Loft my concerns and this is what they say.“Hey there. Our dress code is upscale causal. We do not allow gym or lounge attire. This includes gym shorts, basketball sneakers, sweatpants. We also don’t allow baggy or ripped clothing. We take pride in having an upscale environment for everyone and can promise it’s not based off of skin color. Is there any way your fiancé can change his jeans? I’m sure he won’t have any problem getting in.”Ummmm negative you are profiling, y’all know it!I typically deal with the location in Raleigh which are more laid back.Never been denied entry with similar attire and I wish I’d ever enter my behind through either door establishment. Centuries later we still deal with racism and I’m sick of it! No need for no response, because I warned you I’ll take it to a review if needed be. I kept my word!

Good customer service, the atmosphere is very nice. Great drinks and good price.

Love the loft with the live music and karaoke!

Went to Loft this past Friday for live music. Morgan Vickers was outstanding really enjoyed her set. Looking forward to going back next Friday. Need more live music venues in Greenville.

Great rooftop bar. Good service really enjoyed the lavender lemon drop martini. Sidney I heard it was your last day this past Saturday going to miss your drinks.
