Everything was wonderful as usual with one exception, the music was too loud and too much! In an upper scale restaurant, such as the Rickhouse, a soft jazz or instrumental music is appreciated and appropriate to set a relaxing ambient atmosphere. Tonight the music that was playing was all 80's music including Van Halen, Cheap Trick and Queen. Though these bands are great, this was not the atmosphere we enjoy when dining at the Rickhouse. Thank you!

I made a Yelp account just to leave this review. I’ve had quite a few people recommend this place to me, so I was excited to try it. Went on payday—and apparently I need better friends, because this place was horrible.
We ordered the calamari (a pretty safe order, I’d say). It came out gummy, barely fried, with an Asian-style sauce and black olives. Not great, or even good. The main issue was definitely the texture.
For context, I consider myself pretty well-versed in cooking steak and other meats as a hobby. I ordered the $40 porterhouse, and my girlfriend ordered the salmon. The porterhouse was lightly seasoned—like the cow glanced at some salt a couple of times while it was alive. It was grilled on a grate instead of a flat top, which usually doesn’t bother me, but this was extremely overpriced and underwhelming.
The salmon itself was good, but it came with about a 1/4 cup of pecans and overly sweet, sugary sweet potatoes. Way too much going on. Didn't seem thought out or executed well at all. (Also, the meals came with asparagus… three pieces each.)
I’m typically not picky and I rarely care enough to write reviews like this, but this was a complete robbery of both experience and quality, unfortunately. The service was alright, but the food tasted like something you could get on manager’s special at Walmart and make at home for under twenty bucks.

calked bec website wasnt working for delivery, called was told website is down nothing they could do. Tried directly thru doordasi and rickhouse not listed. Called back and spoke to manager jeremy who was pude and ask me what did i expect him to do bec he was in thf middle of a pat nite shift and said thank you and ended the call. Me and my family will not be dining here again.

Server did not tell me there was a 20% gratuity charge she got that cash plus a tip I left. I am a widow I guess she needed it more than I did. Figured it out the next day she got one more person that was with me. Then she told a different person about the 20% after she got had received our payment. Food great service ok honestly not there.
I have never had a restaurant able to create such a disgusting hamburger not only could you tell that it was a frozen box patty it was so dried up and miserable. They didn’t put any condiments on it. They were out of egg for the fried egg. It was like eating a hockey puck probably because it sat under a heat lamp for 20 minutes being as we watched them bring it out and then turn around and bring it back to the kitchen because they forgot to cook my company’s order. Not once were we checked on and were served 20 mins after the people that came in after us. Sadly the bill was still almost $100 for garbage. We should have listened and not went there.

Can't give a star because we did not stay. Reviewed menu online and arrived to discover new management had change menu but not online! Numerous online menu items were missing. Most were Italian dishes. Very disappointed.
