The Seahorse Restaurant

I'm glad I was able to experience a different restaurant in this area. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I plan to revisit Seahorse and purchase a different slice of cake :).

The food was okay. I like a dark gravy, personal preference. It was busy. Two of us sat at a table for six. Someone could have joined us. More patrons than tables. The price was good, less than expected.

Birthday was today and came across Seahorse. I recomend this place. Portion size was very filling and good. I got the lunch special of Chicken and Rib with cabbage. Cabbage cooked perfectly and chicken was hot. The best hushpuppies I ever had
Only problem was the food other than chicken was lukewarm. Overall I would return

Second time here. First experience was great. Second one, awful. Ordered hamburger steak I’m sure the meat was old or rotten. Mashed potatoes out of can or tasted like it. Very disappointing.

It’s past time for an update to the restaurant! We enjoy the food and the cakes a great deal. Staff is always helpful and friendly. However the overall restaurant seems to have a lot of issues. Seats are torn, never enough seating, the banquet room has been used and abused. Please consider an update!

Ordered take out this weekend. Paid full price for a meal and cake and got HALF the quantity of a dine in plate. Food was barely warm even though I arrived early. Lower your prices for dine out orders if you're only going to prepare half the meal. So disappointed!
