Google reviews led me to this wonderful restaurant and I’m so grateful! We live in New Bern, but Mom had a Drs appointment at ECU Monday afternoon. We were hungry and wanting a good sit down meal before we drove back in the rain.
It was super close to ECU, good parking, which was nice since it was raining lol! You walk in and are immediately faced with rows of their multi-layered decadent cakes, I can’t adequately describe what an OMG view those masterpieces are!

I'm glad I was able to experience a different restaurant in this area. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I plan to revisit Seahorse and purchase a different slice of cake :).
The food was okay. I like a dark gravy, personal preference. It was busy. Two of us sat at a table for six. Someone could have joined us. More patrons than tables. The price was good, less than expected.
