Excellent food (Oxtail, Grouper bites, tostones), friendly and authentic service, didn't seem fake or forced at all, good music - it was a very warm day for November and then it started raining. With the vibes and food we felt like we were in Miami haha.

I stay close by the one on 10th street, so I frequent that one almost 2 times a week. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu.. everything is always so tasteful and fresh! My favorite is the oaxtails! Well the One on 10th St. is Temporary closed and I couldn’t fathom having to wait two months, so I decided to visit this one which is near the hospital. When I mean to tell you the food is night and day.. I got the oxtails rice and beans ..I paid a little over 26 bucks with tip.. -The beans were hard, the oxtails were below room temperature and tasteless. After sitting inside and taking a few bites I had to throw it away .. Needless to say a $26 bill and a empty stomach filled my villa verde cravings.. I’ll just have to wait until the other one reopens 😩

Great quick option for a good meal. Dominican food which is hard to find in this area. The bowls are packed with flavor and customizable to all your likings.
Set up similar to chipotle or moes. You watch your plate being made and it’s chock full of options that you won’t find other places.
My go to when I need a quick great meal. I have been going here for years! Always good and their sit down restaurant is been better.
Owners are wonderful people and support Greenville.

First time eating here. Loved it! Food was awesome. I gave a 4 star for food only because my chicken was a little on the dry side. But the flavor of everything was on point. Service was great. Definitely on our list of favorite restaurants to come back to!

Villa Verde is gonna be our spot from now and on! The restaurant is clean, the service was great, and food was excellent! We’ve been trying to find a nice place to eat in the Greenville area for a while now and it has been a struggle. Villa Verde was a breath of fresh air! Keep killing it Ray!!

Wow!! Such Awesome Customer Service. The young man that greeted me was so helpful in my food selection. This was my first visit & I will be back again. I just moved to the area so just wanted to try out some local restaurants. The food here was amazing. I didn’t know what to expect so the bowl option threw me way off guard. I never had Dominican Food but I’ve heard so much about the food and culture so I expected it to be good. It was FANTASTIC! The options were many and so fresh (THANK YOU). The Chic Pea Salad is a MUST TRY & MUST HAVE,I could eat that alone. The Cilanto Lime Sauce was Delicious! This place is indeed something special ❤️ Next time I must try the Ox Tail & Plantain ?
