“If you haven’t experienced Friday Nite Fish yet, you need to. I got to visit for the first time today and I promise I’ll be back. I ordered the flounder plate with 2 sides and let me tell you, they over delivered. Food was hot, fresh, cooked to perfection. Sides were perfect as well. Don’t be worried about the portion size, you won’t be disappointed. If you haven’t tried it yet, this is your sign to go and give them a shot! You won’t be disappointed!”

“We cannot stop thinking about Carnie’s! Carnie’s did not disappoint! They have so many different options that it’s hard to choose. I had the funnel cake with strawberries and whipped cream. My bf had the fried honeybun with ice cream. Everything was made fresh while we waited. He is still talking about that honeybun so we will definitely be back! Not only do they serve great treats, the owners are friendly and provide excellent customer service. I got to hear a little bit of the story behind Carnie’s and it made me want to support them even more! I will be telling everyone I know about Carnie’s. As my bf keeps saying…This place should be packed!”

“I know theres some controversy online, but I wanted to share my 1st experience there. My boyfriend and I went for the 1st time and felt nothing but warm and welcome. I am Armenian with both my parents being immigrants. Not one single person we spoke to was rude, disrespectful or said anything inappropriate while we were there. The environment was fun and relaxed. I didnt get any sense of hostility or this so called "racist" behavior that someone recently posted. The people I met were fun, happy, excited to see new faces and just were there to have a relaxed time and forget life for a while. We cant wait to go back! Oh and the peach tea was divine!!”

“The meal was excellent, but service was slow and somewhat lacking in detail. The coffee was lukewarm and the server didn't tell us about any specials(we overheard her tell the table next to us after we ordered). That said, I would still go back for the food...loved the collard "chips" and catfish salad!”

“This was my first time going and it was amazing! I got the turkey wing with gravy over a bed of rice, lima beans and mac and cheese! The turkey wing was tender and falling off the bone. The flavor was amazing and the gravy took it over the top! Mac was cheesy and flavor very good. Lima beans were tender and flavored very nicely! Sweet potatoes cake was great as well! Do if you are ever in Kinston, NC. Go check this place out! Worth your time and money to give them a try!”
