“While waiting for services to be done on my vehicle at my repair place, I wanted to find a super close, new place to get something to eat near home and found the new TempStop in Grain Valley. It not only had a cute coffee place, but a little fried chicken place as well! ^__^ I sorta freaked when I realized they had chicken livers! A rare favorite of mine not found in a whole lot of places.. o__o Yes, I'm one of them modern-day woodsy-folks that enjoys her organ meats lol, so I proudly swung by there to check things out and to get myself a hefty helping of fried livers. The people I interacted with were nothing but kind and comfortable to talk with. My first experience there was a great one! The place was clean as well, which I appreciate. That all being said, their livers were quite good and I'm stoked how close it is to where I live! Next time I swing by there I'm trying their fried fish though! That's definitely happening! Their location is excellent for those swinging by Grain Valley or leaving to or from work! I'm also thankful for that.”

“If you have not been here, you should! The building, which was previously a flower shop, was turned into one of the most popular restaurants in the Inner Banks. Georgia Deans has a great staff, food, management and overall perfect atmosphere for a dinner date or quick business lunch. They have one of the best catering crews and menu in the area as well. Also, don't miss out on their great drinks at the bar and fun events they host throughout the year! I personally recommend The Roanoke as a drink. Just down the road from the Roanoke Country Club and easily accessible right off of HWY 17 and US 64.”

“Food is always good here no matter what you get and the business stays steady to prove it. Just you will get your money's worth. I just it had a bigger sitting area so you can just sit and enjoy the delicious food ?”

“Incredible authentic NC BBQ. I'm not normally a breakfast person, but I'll eat one of their sausage, egg and cheese biscuits anytime, hungry or not.Their fish sandwich isn't great, but you can't fault a lemonade stand for bad sweet tea. That one is on me.”

“I went in the morning with my dad, he got chicken and rice and I got teriyaki steak. The food tasted great. And it was really quick.Dietary restrictions: They actually say on the menu to tell the host about your allergies so they can make your food accordingly. It's awesome for some with a wheat allergy like me.Parking: There's roughly about 25 spots, which is about the same amount of seats inside the place.”

“We had been debating on going here because of the previous reviews. Decided to check it out for ourselves. Dined in for lunch buffet at 2pm. I thought to question if that was the right time for freshness. After seated, went to buffet and was pleasantly surprised to see all was fresh and hot. Food was great. Point to make as per other reviews....yes you drink out of a red solo cup, you take a Styrofoam plate for the buffet and you eat with a very sturdy plastic fork. I personally don't have a problem using these items. It didn't affect my enjoyment of my meal or the quality of great food. My only critique would be on the ice cream that is there for a dessert. I prefer the individual ice cream servings for sanitary purposes, but as of late have noticed many places going to big containers and you dip what you want out of those containers. The owner and staff were very nice folks and engaged us with conversation. We will be going there more frequently. Each person has their own experience, but remember that sometimes what you put out is what you get back.”

“For what it is, a fast food restaurant, Cook Out is the best! They have definitely raised their prices quite a bit over the past few years, but it's still a good value. I love that you can customize their milkshakes, although they're not really a milkshake, you really do need a spoon to eat them! Definitely try the Cajun chicken sandwich, it's absolutely delicious!”

“There food is usually splendid. Staff is a mix of happy to be there and I'm ready to go home. The service is the only thing I have to dock them on and that's because I've stood at the counter many times, looked directly at a staff member and not even get so much as a hello. So, the customer service is a little lacking. There are exceptions to that, as there are several staff members that go above and beyond. I've seen the district manager in there many times working her butt off. Overall the food is delicious and has always been fresh (in my experience), and once you've been acknowledged, your service experience is pretty good.”

“Thank you to Hardee's for making food that actually tastes good. The only downside to this location was the customer service, it was very snappy and rude, but the food was good and that is what I care about everything was hot and tasted great.”

“Most all Bojangles are great. But if you’re not careful they will serve you old dried up chicken or give you a thigh and leg numerous times when you order double breast dinners. So look before leaving and make sure it’s not dry. I want fresh cooked and will wait if chicken is in the hot lights too long. It’s worth the wait. They should donate all the drier chicken to the homeless shelters where they can make chicken noodle or chicken mull with it. So nothing is wasted. It’s a tax write off for them if their management is smart enough to make time to donate.My favorite is the chicken breast dinner with pintos and a biscuit. I love the dirty rice too but pintos are good heart ❤️ food and removes cholesterol from the body, so eat plenty of pintos!I love their breakfast biscuit specials too. Smoked sausage or sausage are my favorites! Hot sauce and honey are great for the body! Lol?”
