Divine Cafe Reviews

Jarvis was the kindest owner and you bet when we walked in, he started frying chicken. Piping hot, fresh out the oil, that chicken tasted like my grandma’s. Don’t even get me started on the okra. If any of those Yankees or Californians want southern food, this IS IT.

The owner is VERY nice!!! Everything is homemade and woww, we were passing through on the way back to charlotte and he made us feel right at home!!I’d you’re driving through, MAKE SURE TO STOP HERE!!! You won’t regret it!!Kid-friendliness: He keeps food specifically for children.

Our lunch was delicious and prepared to order. The pork chop was perfectly fried. One suggestion, if dining in, take your own silverware as the thin, flexible plastic eating utensils they provide are useless when you are trying to cut and eat a porkchop...
