“Went in for the first time today with my friend who frequents there more. Was blown away by the awesome customer service, the speediness and cleanliness of the bakery. I got a half dozen bagels and a bagel sandwich and let me just say I will be back. So so good! and I tipped because they were so nice and kicking that long line out the door butt. Great job“

“I cannot recommend Burney's (Wilmington location specifcially) enough! The owner, Anthony, is incredibly kind and generous. I used them for my wedding desserts and got 6 flavors of croissants, cake balls, white wedding cake and a 15 layer caramel cake. Several people told me it was the best wedding cake they have ever had. My only regret is not getting more croissants because they were gone SO FAST - people are still talking about them! Not only was the quality of everything amazing (as it always is when I'm just visiting the store), but everyone was so kind and helpful. I did several tastings and this one was by far the best (in flavor and service), they have so many options, are super customizable, have a reliable staff - truly everything you could want in a local bakery or a wedding vendor!“

Got the order in, they were so nice and went above and beyond for me. Said it would be about an hour, which I fully understood being how busy they were. “I don't normally leave reviews but I absolutely LOVE Port City Java! The team at Portersneck is so kind and even takes the time to get to know you. Every time I go there, I don't feel like a stranger. The coffee and food is delicious and fairly priced. The wait is typically a couple minutes but may be longer depending on the time of day. But that's only because they make everybody's order with so much care, even under rush hour pressure. Best local coffee shop in town!“
