Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Went to HWY 55 today and food and service was ok but would have been alot better if they had AC. If you put a jar at door to raise money to get AC I'll throw in 20$.

Great burgers, fries are crispy, and we never leave without a concrete. 🤦‍♀😆

I do not ever usually write negative reviews. However I think the owner needs to hear this. The restaurant is unclean. It’s disgusting inside the bathrooms, not just a little, but a lot. Trash can was overflowing to the point of can’t function anymore, except to spill on the ground. Built up sprays of pee and muck all over the walls, the sink/toilet/walls/handles all of it looked like it had not been cleaned in years. And the smell. I can’t even describe how bad that was. My food was “ok” if I had no other choice. Much of my lettuce on my salad was rotten, and the crispy onions that came on it were stale. The Philly Cheesesteak had NO seasoning on it and tasted like a lump of just meat with cheese on it. I had a “skin” of onion cooked into my food. I think if I had seen the bathroom - an indicator of how employees handle their place of work, their work ethic to keep it clean and shows a level of care - I would have never eaten there. My server was a nice young girl and did great. But whoever is teaching them how to keep their restaurant cleanly - to where people want to come back - is failing. I will never eat here again.

Hwy 55 always hits the spot. The burgers are fresh, the fries are crispy, and the milkshakes never disappoint. Love the old-school diner vibe and friendly service that makes you feel welcome the second you walk in. It’s one of those places the whole family agrees on every time. Definitely a go-to when we want a good burger and a fun atmosphere.

Went for the first time last Saturday and I gotta say, I am impressed. Staff was very friendly, food came out quick, taste good, and was less than $9 for a burger. I definitely will be back.

Great experience at Hwy 55 as always. This places holds up the standards the typical expected experience. They keep the diner experience alive with youthfull workers, great food, and the awesome theme. I can say this one was less impressive in decor as some of the others but still was a great experience.

This is our go to spot after sports games Beef burgers are great but my favorite by far is the shrimp burger so many shrimp they fall out the sides, Have also tried hoagies Always have fries & a drink to top out our meal . Relaxed atmosphere, clean, wait staff are so nice & answer any questions about menu (we bring along folks who have never been here) You want good food at prices you'd normally spend at a local fast food joint you owe it to yourself to check them out

One of my favorites to order and eat at since moving down from NY to Hampstead. Servers in restaurant are super friendly and the burgers are amazing

The service was top tier and the food was outstanding! I had the shrimp po boy and the half and half tots and fries and it was so reasonably priced for a solid 10/10 meal.

I've only been to a Hey 55 once before this BUT this was a fantastic experience. One of the best burgers ever...reasonable..tasty. Carley was an absolutely great server. FIVE STARS
