Divine Detour That Led to an Incredible Meal

We were headed to Morehead for dinner, but an unexpected road closure sent us back toward Harkers Island. We decided to stop at The Fish Hook Grill, and honestly, it felt like divine intervention.

I took my son, nephew, and my father there last Saturday evening. We each ordered an entrée. The server was new they say. I ordered a mixed drink and a tequila. Dad ordered a beer. When it was almost empty, he ordered a replacement. The server came back and insisted he must finish his first before he would replace it. That doesn't mean much to me but it pissed him off. He was gonna hand off the empty when he delivered it anyway. They blamed it on the law. Which I understand....

The fish here to cooked to perfection! I had a flounder sandwich and it was extremely fresh and well breaded. My only criticism is that the fries were nothing special, but the excellent seafood was more than enough to ignore it.
