Chip's cafe was a delightful surprise! Best hamburger I've had in a long time. Fries and onion rings really good! Husband had BBQ plate with cole slaw and hushpuppies which he gave a thumbs up to. Quick service, food was hot and Iced Tea was perfectly sweetened. Highly recommend this little hide-away. And they still have a pay phone (for show only) but brought back some nostalgia.

Alicia is the best server I have ever seen. She served every table with courtesy and a smile. The orders were cooked well and delivered promptly. The food including the deep fried baked potato was amazing. I would drive the seventy minutes it takes to get there from here just to eat another meal there.

Very disappointed. I ordered the salt and pepper catfish with seasoned fries. What I got was soggy flounder and regular fries with no salt or seasoning. When I pointed it out to the waitress she said "it should be catfish". Not having pepper on it should have been a sign it wasn't. I told her it wasn't and she said "sorry" and walked away. She didn't ask if I wanted her to replace it, nor did she come back with an answer from the kitchen, nor did she comp my meal. That is the last time I eat there.
