Gunter's Family Kitchen & Catering

We just finished eating here and it amazing! We had their biscuits and gravy and it was delicious. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Will be back!

My husband and I got part of our order and when we went back in to get the rest, the short older lady basically accused us of lying over a cheeseburger. She told my husband to go get his bag and prove it. How embarrassing for my husband to be accused of stealing in front of a packed restaurant. Does she not think anyone could take it out of the bag before bringing it in? No Karen, I was starving and I just wanted my dang burger after paying $30. I could see if we were asking for a lot of food, but it was one cheeseburger that you forgot. We didn’t get the burger because I will not be accused of being a thief and I didn’t want someone spitting on my burger. My husband did get an attitude but that lady deserved it. I guess she was needing that extra tip. It may not be much, but we “WERE” spending around $450 a month eating there. No more. I hope that waitress is worth it because she wasn’t just rude to us. People get tired of bad service.

I had read reviews about the hamburger steak being so good. I wouldn't recommend getting it. The slaw wasn't good either. My sister got the chicken pie, she said it was good but the potatoe salad wasn't. We won't be going back there.

This was our breakfast point for our vacation, and we greatly enjoyed the food and experience at gunters! Friendly staff, great and timely food!

Love that they have parking for truckers. Best dang meatloaf I've had yet. Service was great. Awesome lil mom and pop place. Cheese cake is a must try

Excellent service good and place all around. Had the country fried steak mashed potatoes and okra and it was all awesome. The waitress was super nice. Really cool little place will be stopping here again. Free truck parking in back

Brittanie was so nice, even though we came into the restaurant in dower spirits from driving in a lightning storm. The food is reasonably priced. Honestly a single person could affordablly eat here daily. It seemed from the other customer, they do. Ms. Gunter was very attentive and sweet too. Its diner food, with a home cooked taste. Lots of fried options, desserts too. This place is definitely a hole-in-the-wall gem.

Food was decent as usually. Service was not as great and was not busy. Server was rude when I said no I wasn't leaving a tip on my card but still gave a cash tip before.

Great dinner today! Catfish, Flounder and Lasagna dinners!

I had been on the road all morning and hadn't had time to stop for food yet so I swung in to Gunters to grab a bite. I'm glad I did! I got the 3 veggie plate with whole potatoes, rice/gravy, and fried okra. All of the items were piping hot and tasted very fresh! Their okra is 2nd to none!
The server was very attentive and polite. I'll definitely be back!

This place is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME 🤩. I drive a semi OTR for a living and I love coming through I-77 just to stop here to eat. I have had breakfast and dinner here and the food CANT BE BEAT. Service is top notch. Food is home cooked and fresh. Staff has that good ole southern hospitality. Trust me, if you’re in the area stop in and say hello. Tell them Kyle said to stop in (That won’t get you special treatment but I’ve always wanted to say it lol) You won’t regret stopping at Gunter’s. Also to my driving brothers and sisters. They have FREE overnight parking. Just please keep it clean so it stays free. Safe Travels to all!!!
