Gunter's Family Kitchen & Catering

I had been on the road all morning and hadn't had time to stop for food yet so I swung in to Gunters to grab a bite. I'm glad I did! I got the 3 veggie plate with whole potatoes, rice/gravy, and fried okra. All of the items were piping hot and tasted very fresh! Their okra is 2nd to none!
The server was very attentive and polite. I'll definitely be back!

This place is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME 🤩. I drive a semi OTR for a living and I love coming through I-77 just to stop here to eat. I have had breakfast and dinner here and the food CANT BE BEAT. Service is top notch. Food is home cooked and fresh. Staff has that good ole southern hospitality. Trust me, if you’re in the area stop in and say hello. Tell them Kyle said to stop in (That won’t get you special treatment but I’ve always wanted to say it lol) You won’t regret stopping at Gunter’s. Also to my driving brothers and sisters. They have FREE overnight parking. Just please keep it clean so it stays free. Safe Travels to all!!!

I give it 5 stars across the bored.. escorting a oversize load and stopped at the rest area for the night and this looked like a nice place to eat.. great service from the lady's there and the food was great I had the catfish and it was the best catfish iv had and I grew up on the lake catfishing coleslaw was good and the sweet potato casserole is to die for!!!! If I had a fridge and microwave in my van I would have got 2 orders To go!! All around amazing place

May do breakfast but dinner was terrible. Fish was still swimming. Ugh! Chicken nuggets were hard as shoe leather. Waste of time
