This restaurant is family oriented. The food is home style cooking. The famous Athens beef strips are excellent. I highly recommend going to this restaurant if you’re in or around Harrisburg.
Always a great time here, they have a very full menu with lots to choose from. Old school feel but great service and the food is always fresh and hot, whether you want chicken, burgers, Italian, anything. They have almost everything you could ever want on the menu. I never regret going there, you can try something new everyday. Whether you dine in or take out it's always the best! Can be busy on the weekend so beware.
Waitstaff is always attentive here. Good service and good comfort food. I had the fried flounder with mashed potatoes and gravy and the fried squash. The fried squash and their fried mushrooms are always a big hit with my hubby! He had a seafood combo of fried catfish and flounder, and his sides were cabbage and fried squash. (he said he meant to order the fried mushrooms but forgot) Of course, we both had the crunchy hush puppies along with our Arnold Plamer sweet tea!! If...
