Best birani, perfect tickas and kebabs. Authentic Pakistani flavor.

The Bihari boti was inedible and very disappointing. The prices were already quite high, and on top of that, the restaurant automatically added an 18% service charge for parties of more than four. Overall, the food did not justify the cost, making for a poor dining experience.

Great food and friendly service. The kababs were tasty, the biryani was fresh, and everything was full of flavor. Nice place for authentic Pakistani and Indian food. I will definitely come back!

If you are looking for authentic, flavor-packed food, Zafran Kabab Palace is the place to go!
I recently tried the Goat Khyber Karahi and Garlic Naan, and it was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. The goat was incredibly tender, perfectly spiced, and cooked to absolute perfection in the karahi. Pairing it with their fresh, hot garlic naan—which was soft, fluffy, and full of flavor—took the whole meal to another level.
The flavors here are truly authentic, the portions are great, and you can tell everything is made with care. I will definitely be back for more. Highly, highly recommend!

If you are looking for authentic, soul-satisfying Pakistani and Indian cuisine in Charlotte, look no further than Zafran Kabab Palace near the University. This place is an absolute gem!
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. I came here specifically for the barbecue and the classics, and they truly delivered. The kebabs are top-tier—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with that authentic, smoky flavor you just can’t find anywhere else. The karahi was fresh, bold, and expertly spiced, while the biryani was the perfect aromatic finish to the meal.
It’s rare to find a spot that hits the mark on every single dish, but Zafran manages to do it with generous portions and high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Desi food or just looking to try something new, this is a must-visit. I’m already looking forward to my next trip back to work my way through the rest of the menu. Highly recommended!

Zafran Kabab Palace is one of the best restaurants I’ve visited! The food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every dish is packed with authentic spices and rich taste. The kebabs were juicy and tender, and the biryani was absolutely delicious.

The staff was welcoming, friendly, and provided excellent service. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere for dining with family and friends.

If you’re looking for authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine, I highly recommend Zafran Kabab Palace. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Bread and water must be a part of the meal, not an add on,

Not getting bread with a 22.99 kadai is very greedy.

Food was good but having to buy your bread and water separate seems greedy much,

I have tried almost all Pakistani and Indian restaurant around NC and this has to be the one with not so good customer service and menu quality.

If a dish is supposed to be eaten with bread then bread should be a part of the meal not an extra add on, same as water.

There is no other place like Zafran’s. Everytime is better than the last time I eat here. The prices match the quality and care into making the food. Their chicken tandoori, mix grills, and BBQ items are good I can’t brag about them enough. I hope zafrans stays here for a long time, my family travels 2hrs to eat here just because the food is that good and authentic Pakistani
