Hatteras Landing Marina is a clean and nice marina located near the NC Ferry System, making it a convenient option for those looking to travel to Ocracoke Island. The area around the marina features several shops, which are a bit pricey but offer quality items. There is also a shopping and restaurant area adjacent to the resort, which includes a Tiki Bar where guests can listen to music and watch the sunset.

The villas at the resort are well-appointed and decorated nicely. Villa #220, in particular, has a balcony with a view of the Pamlico Sound and the ferries coming and going. The villa is as shown in the online photos and is stocked with a starter pack of essentials, such as k-cups, paper towels, and dish liquid. However, it is recommended that guests bring any extra pillows or blankets they may need.

The staff at the resort are friendly and knowledgeable, and they make an effort to communicate with guests via email and text message. Check-in and check-out are made easy through this online communication, and there is no need for guests to visit the lobby.

One thing to note is that the villas do not have internet access, so guests will not be able to use the apps on their TVs. Additionally, some of the villas may have maintenance issues. In the case of Villa #220, the TV in the bedroom was off the wall and two lights in the kitchen were burned out. The resort was made aware of these issues, but was unable to replace the TV until the morning of the guests' departure. Despite these issues, the villa was overall clean and comfortable.
