I absolutely love this Mario's. I was working in Emerald Isle not long ago and I was so hungry after I finished my shift that I had stopped by a Michelangelo's Pizza. I was quite disappointed with the unflavored cardboard box I had consumed. A day later I decided to give Mario's Pizza a try instead here in Havelock and I was not disappointed. Not only was the food phenomenal, but the employees there are so kind and you can tell that they enjoy their job and that they're happy people. I try to go there at least once or twice a week. I highly recommend eating here.

My favorite local restaurant. Family owned Havelock Tradition. This family friendly, 3 generation, easy on the budget, delicious food, kind service, restaurant is truly worth your visit. It may be the longest lasting family owned and operated restaurant in Havelock. That speaks volumes to their quality and service.
Had cheesesteak it was horrible and I had them before I donât know if the meat was bad or if it was a new distributor it was sort of sweet like it was sausage but it was not a regular beef steak. It did not smell like it was beef. I pray the meat was not bad cause usually pretty nice food and the people are good.
Hands down the worst cheesesteak we have ever had There's no way this was real steak. It tasted like it was mixed with pork sausage. The color was off and the taste was disgusting. This is my first AND last time I will order from here. The employees were nice though.

The hoagie roll at this place is to die for! The pizza is delicious too!
Whatâs better than a family owned restaurant? NOTHING! Marioâs has great service, amazing food, and an exceptional staff! You will not be disappointed!
We ordered large pizza half Hawaiian, half Meat Lover style with no olives. I hate to say this but I did not like Mario's. I'm hesitant to leave poor reviews, but the crust had bad texture and taste. Unevenly cooked crust. Some spots looking like they were burned, others, raw crust white. The sauce was very unremarkable. Runny. The toppings that I had which were ham and pineapple, ham seemed to be cut up cold-cut meat. (I ordered the Hawaiian side). Maybe I got two pieces of pineapple per slice. Stingy. I think you'd be better off going to Domino's. At least you know what to expect. Mario's, expect poor quality. It did not kill my pizza urge. I wanted to order a new pizza somewhere else right away. We were on the road so we ate it.
Went in at 7:40 because Google says they are open til 8:30pm. Get to the door, sign says open until 8:30. Wait in line and get to the register, employee says they are closed. 7:40 on a Saturday night and I canât even get a slice. Yikes
2 slices of peperoni pizza! Just what I needed for lunch today!! Great as usual.
