This is our favorite spot in town. Anthony is super friendly and professional and takes pride in his pub. Kelly is one hell of a bartender, constantly hustling and on the move.
You’ll never feel alone in this spot. Customers make friends, there’s always something entertaining on one of the TVs.
Everything we’ve eaten here has been awesome and fresh, from the nachos, to the burgers, to the lasagna and the wings. Great beer selection on draft and bottles.
If only we can talk them into getting Guinness on nitro…. Ha!

I think they have the best wings in the area. Worth the drive from Murphy. I noticed a lot of people ordered what looks to be prime rib the last Friday I was there. May try that next time.

1st visit. We enjoyed a cheese steak with fries and a fried chicken sandwich with chips. All was very good.
LOVE THIS PLACE! Not many places can make a perfect medium rare cheeseburger.....but these guys make it better than any other place I've ever been! Highly recommend the Fat Dog burger, if for some reason it's not perfect they will make sure they get it right, no questions! My new favorite place!

Thank goodness new management has taken over the former "Black Dog" The new owner Anthony and his crew have a great thing going inn downtown Hayesville. The sports bar has a diverse and tasty menu, Ice cold beer and a great wait staff. We have had Jess as our waitress several times and its like she can read your mind. Glass's don't stay empty, food comes hot and correct and the service is excellent. The chef produces some great food, the burgers are top shelf, the boneless beer batter chicken "wings are actually little boulders of real chicken (not pressed) and you can name your source either tossed or on the side. And the bill is never a shocker, very reasonable for what you get. Oh did I mention there is Entertainment on weekends. Do yourself a favor....GO!
