Hands down the BEST fried pickles I have ever had!!! No puny thin slices-no sir! These were pickle slices to sink your teeth into. The batter-like tempura and your favorite biscuit dough had a baby!! Well done Chevelle's.

I'm on vacation in Hayesville, NC, and after getting rained on during a hike, all I wanted was some hot soup. This restaurant was close to the campground, so I decided to check it out. The soup was delicious, the portions were super generous, the service was amazing, and the prices were really affordable. I'm definitely going back there on my next vacation.

Their Hummer was one of the best Reuben’s I have had. The meat was so tender!!! Their coleslaw was delicious and the bartender, Tori was fabulous! Roy had their bacon cheeseburger!!! Delicious.
Our party of 7 arrived to the restaurant around early evening. At our time of arrival, there were approximately 6 other parties. We were seated promptly, then proceeded to wait ten minutes to place our drink and appetizer orders. It took approximately 10 minutes to get our drinks and 30 minutes for our appetizer. After receiving our appetizer, we shared with our waiter we were ready to order. She asked us to wait and proceeded to see two other parties. Finally after waiting approximately 45 minutes from time of arrival, the waitress took our order. My party ordered 6 burgers and 1 salad. We waited about 30 more minutes still with no entrees. We chose to pay the bill for our appetizer and leave. The manager offered a 10 percent discount for our meals if we would stay. We had been at the restaurant for an hour and 15 minutes at that point. We declined their measley discount and left. Within our time there, the waitress had only refilled our drinks once. Multiple other parties who arrived after us were waited and received their order within approximately thirty to forty minutes of our arrival there. There were no apologies for the extended wait time from our waitress or from the manager. I would not advise visiting this location.

My family of seven had to wait an hour and a half and still didn’t get our food. Several couples entered after us and were served and almost finished eating. We weren’t even served yet! The waitress only came over once in the hour n half to refill our drinks. Place was not busy at all. We will never step foot in there again! Horrible experience!!!!!

Perfect Dive Bar with solid food and service! Inside was a bit loud and though a bit long in the tooth it was spotlessly clean. Actually it was the perfect amount of divyness (not a word I know) We sat outside on the dog friendly porch. The patty melt and burger were just what you wanted BUT the waitress said we must get the ONION RINGS! She was right. Pints were served in a chilled glass and overall it was a solid experience. Next time we drive through Haysville we will stop in again.

My mom sister and I popped in for a late lunch- and boy are we glad we did! The burgers were amazing BUT the best part of our experience was Miss Innocence our server - she was a breath of fresh air! Well done in hiring her - she's a keeper!
