We stopped not knowing anything about the place. We were both pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and the amazing food. They are know for their BBQ ribs (and they are good), but in my opinion the chopped, wet brisket is AMAZING. Everything was delicious and very reasonable.

Went here for a take out order yesterday, I’ll start by saying that the service was awful. The girls up at the front don’t seem to care much about customer service, as it took quite some time to be helped, especially when I brought my food back to the front desk, I had to flag down a server named Montana, and she was very reluctant to help me/get a manager. Then, I got my food and the portion size of the brisket was negligible; so I waited another 5-10 minutes just to ask why the portion size was small, I was met with the answer: we weight our meat, we don’t go by slices. There were 3 small slices of brisket on my plate They also did not give me my sides as I asked for them, and it seemed as though the portions were off as well I was not offered a discount or anything, even though I would’ve refused, I just wanted a reasonable amount of meat for what I paid for. All of this, while there were only 4 tables seated in the restaurant. The servers kept going back to the drink station and I could see them looking at me, so I was obviously ignored The food was decent, even though everything but one of my sides was cold. The food being decent is the only reason this is not a 1 star review

We are from out of town and were told to eat there. Deeply regret that decision. The food was nasty. Fries, okra, and bread were overcooked and hard. The beans had a disgusting flavor. The only edible part was the pulled pork. Very overpriced for the small portions. When my friend went in to pick it up they were rude and very unprofessional. She listened to a lady take a to go order from another customer and was NASTY in the way she spoke. Never again!!

I realize it was Friday night but not enough servers or they didn't know what their jobs were. Front check in/out complete mess. Too many people standings around not knowing what to do. 5 minute wait to get put on a list then the lady comes and gets the couple that had been there 5 minutes compared to my 15. She never looked at the list. Got to a table - order finally taken. The other couple was served immediately, got their food before us, got waited on several times. We sat. Order was brought to us wrong. We ordered shrimp and ribs. We got shrimp. Then we asked for silverware - twice. Then we finally got our ribs. Other couple finished and left. We asked for our check, twice. Get these people some training and/or help, please.

We waited up front to get seated for about 15 minutes with no one else waiting and place was almost empty. Staff would walk by and never acknowledge us
We pulled in to use the restroom and maybe grab a quick drink but the absolutely incredible smell made us stay and order lunch. Had the smoked wings and the pulled pork plate and they were both amazing. Shout out to Victoria for being an awesome server and for her great recommendations, especially for the coleslaw and baked beans. If I am ever in this area again I will absolutely make it a point to stop in again. Sorry for not taking a better food pic but seriously as soon as the food hit the table I started shoveling it in, it smelled (and tasted) that good.

Brisket was mostly fat. The fried green tomatoes didn't have any flavor. The loaded potatoes were the best thing we ordered.
