Checking my calendar, we have dined at The Cooper Door 11 times this year. The food is exceptional; honey lavender salad is wonderful; salmon is always cooked perfectly. Our friends always get the pork chop because it is so good. The servers are all very knowledgeable, and Ethan even remembers our past orders. Don’t sleep on dessert - it is pretty special.

This is our first visit and it was a treat. I was impressed how you took note it was my husband's birthday and left a card on the table as well as the little silver button things to make the setting a little more festive. Our server Amy was very knowledgeable I don't know how she remembers everything haha but was very pleasant friendly and knew the menu. My husband got the steak special and it did not disappoint at all. All of our meals were extraordinary in flavor and we look forward to coming again very soon. I'm not going to lie; It's definitely pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

I had the Mahi Mahi special and it was amazing. It was a big portion. I could only eat half so I brought home my lunch for the next day.

We LOVE The Copper Door! Whether it be enjoying a DELICIOUS a cocktail created by your incredible bartender in your lounge or dining with a full course meal in your intimate dining room. Every course is plated beautifully with layers of flavor. We love it finish our meal with your infamous Bananas Foster prepared table side. The service and attention to every detail by your remarkable staff makes the entire experience so memorable.

Probably the best, most tender, and flavorful steak I’ve had in many moons. Our server was excellent as is always the case at the Copper Door. When we want a five star restaurant, the Copper Door is always our go to place. Love it!

Boulliabase was excellent as usual. Husband had duck, not so much. Duck was tough,not much taste. We prefer duck more roasted/tender. Carrots were also hard. Shrimp Kristine was great as always.

There were three in our group for the Copper Door. We wanted a nice evening out after a week of classes at the nearby John C Campbell Folk School. Even the lobby had a cozy and elegant feel. Quiet booths, beautiful wood paneling. Servers were very friendly and courteous. The food and wine were both excellent. The mushroom bisque is definitely something I would have again. I thoroughly enjoyed my lamb chops. They have a very nice selection of entrees from pasta to fish to steak and lamb. I only wish they'd had smaller steaks available. Price-wise you are definitely getting what you are paying for between the quality of the food and the high level of service. Overall I highly recommend the Copper Door, and I hope to make a return trip the next time I am in the area.

Everything at The Copper Door was most excellent! My significant other submitted my food allergies/sensitivities to the establishment when he made reservations. I typically reach out myself a good week+ ahead, but was so busy with work & life it got away from me. They reached out the day of our reservation, and went over the details of the dinner the chef on duty created for me - lamb chops with cherry demi-glaze, sweet carrot puree, and steamed asparagus. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked, and I appreciated chef taking creative liberty for my meal! My fella ordered surf & turf with pasta and mashed potatoes, and said everything was excellent! We stayed about 40 minutes away in Blairsville, GA, and our experience was well worth the drive! We highly recommend The Copper Door!

Oh my goodness! This restaurant is fabulous. Our server, Nick, was so sweet and soft spoken. (ask for him when you go) The entire staff made us feel so special for our anniversary. A beautiful card and rose petals on the table. It was the perfect thing for our day celebrating our marriage. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Top notch service and impeccable attention to detail. I'm so happy we found this hidden gem during our trip east. If we ever get back this way, we will be visiting again. Thank you all for a wonderful dinner and evening.
