The quality has changed, the chicken is no longer Crispy it's soggy. The old cook or manager must have quit or retired.

This olace knocks it outta the park! Clean, fast, friendly and delicious! I had the 2 piece snack my dh had the lg tender plate. Both of us were very happy with our choices are happy we chose this as our stop along the highway!

Love this place! The sauce is one of my mymy favorites. Love to get the tender sandwich and put the red sauce on it with a splash of the vinegar sauce! Friendly folks too!

This was my first experience here and it was great friendly staff great food I had BBQ chicken Brunswick stew and slaw and tried a hot dog as well good stuff this will be one of my go to places

This is only the third time my wife and I have visited this location. First two were enough to keep us away for several years. Proud to say everything was great today. Restaurant was clean, staff was very nice, and the food was great! We both had the Chicken/BBQ combination plate. Everything that was supposed to be hot was hot, and everything that was supposed to be cold was cold. We were both impressed today and will definitely be back soon.

Chicken tenders value pack always seem to be overcooked and to hard to eat or the chicken has been sitting under a heat lamp..chicken never seems fresh..I do not recommend

TO the MANAGEMENT
On July 19 2025 I went to Smithfield Restaurant on Dabney Drive in Henderson NC I was in drive thru I ordered a Kids Meal Hotdog, I asked for my hotdog to be fix with toppings in this order (Mustard, Chili and Slaw) I had to Order my Hotdogs 3 times. Then the young lady that brought the order out to my car saids to me we have to fix the hotdogs the way our policy says fix them. I said to her I come here all the time and when I ask for my toppings in that order they never have a problem fixing it that way when I come inside. When I got the second Hotdog I said now my FF are cold, she said you want some more Fries, I said yes please, the fries were hot but raw it was as if they put them in the grease just enough to start getting hot them took them out and put them in a small white bag. Service was TERRIBLE. The first hotdog was so full of Mustard I couldn't see the slaw and it was sooo much mustard, the mustard was on top of the slaw. It was so much mustard that the mustard was all in top of the hotdog container. When I gave it back in drive thru and explained to her how I wanted my topping on my hotdog she said in that order I said yes please. The second hotdog was still WRONG. The 3rd hotdog topping was correct but the order filler filled the hotdog FULL of mustard again I'm assuming trying to be funny this time. Mustard was running out of the end of the Hotdog bun. Worst experience ever at this restaurant. I'm shark because they usually have great service.

Completely disgusting food. Barbecue was a vinegar salad. Hushpuppies were thin and cold. Chicken also old and cold. French fries were cold. I was not given butter and ketchup as requested nor did the rude girl at the drive through give me a napkin or a fork. Never returning.
