Looking for a Friday fish fry? A Thursday… Thirsty day? Pardon the play on words, but the only play you’ll need after an hour at Seabreeze will be a play with the sink. Because the food splashes right out of the water. It is the freshest seafood. In fact, it’s more sea than food. That’s why the breeze of the salty wind blasts through the heating vents. They pipe it in like music for the nostrils. The wind of the ocean enters the room, transforming the ambiance into a coastline of promise. A true sailor’s delight. The number one pimp of shrimp? Another one, number one… It’s called Bay Breeze, right? Baby, please bring me to Bay Breeze and Tongue Twist of the Taste Buds. You want some lobster tail? Well, slap your sassy self down in the seat, and you’ll get it lickety-split. Don’t forget the complimentary gloves, wet wipes, and nappies. Bib yourself from shin up to chin up. Because you’re in for a splash of a good time. The place is big. It has many options. The waitstaff? Pleasant. However, short. But not curt. Short in stature. Oftentimes. However, not always. And they’re open seven days a week. Their hours seldom change. 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. I don’t know if they even have a good breakfast. Have you ever had a scallop omelet? That is delectable. They also crack the clams with their hands right in front of you. And they do a little thing, like the guys in the streets with the cards that flip around real fast; you don’t know which clam’s cracked until suddenly they’re all cracked right in front of your eyes. Boy, oh boy. Take yourself down. Best in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Asheville doesn’t have Seabreeze. Lame. Swannanoa? Ha! They don’t even know what a seabreeze is. Best you’ll get there is a chapel and a cross. The only place I know, nope, not Black Mountain, wrong, it is Hendersonville, Buncombe County, baby. God bless America.

Oysters were defrosted, gooey, and smelly. I bought 1/2 dozen but could only eat 1 1/2 - it was that bad! The coleslaw tasted like vinegar. Their wine was stale. Plus, the eating area has carpet. Service was okay. Won't be coming back. Try The Salty Landing - they have the same food supplier but with exceptional cooks and recipes.

I've gone here many many times. From childhood to adulthood this restaurant has been consistent in a great way. The food has always been cooked to perfection. The seasoning is just right. The portions are very large and I always have food to take home. This place can get packed but I don't think I have ever waited more than 20-30 minutes. The food comes out really fast. Service is nice as well. If you love seafood cooked in various ways, this is the place to come.

Over priced and over cooked. Although the place was not busy at the time wife and I sat for about 15 minutes before even seeing a waitress. Ordered our drinks, another 10 minutes. Finally order our dinners after about a half hour after sitting down. My stuffed jumbo shrimp was over cooked and the stuffing was just so so. My wife got whole catfish and it really wasn't any better. I really expected better for a nearly $50 dinner. This place used to be our go to for seafood and I have recommended it to others on several occasions, sadly I cannot anymore.
