We stopped in for coffee while exploring Hendersonville. It’s a nice coffee shop with plenty of indoor seating, a good selection of coffee drinks, and very fast and friendly service.

Anytime we are in the area visiting family, Black Bear is a must. Such a cool spot.

The coffee is impeccable. We have only been twice but each time we have enjoyed our drinks. They have plenty of flavor. The atmosphere is amazing. Being pet friendly helps.

I had the monkey bread. Expected it to be dry and hard. It was not. I REALLY enjoyed it. My wife had a gluten free ginger cookie. It was GREAT! She has an espresso and a drip. I had an Americano. All very good.

Past two times I have been there they made my latte way too sweet. The second time I was there I asked them to do half pumps of the sweetener and the did the appropriate amount then she looked at me and added more. Someone also needs to teach them productiveness they had started like 15 coffees and made them way out of order so my coffee was basically cold.

Espresso drinks were okay, but they didn't properly steam the cappuccino milk. Breakfast burrito was basic and well made but not amazing. Service and atmosphere were great.

Coffee was very good and loved the in house baked goods. Lots of space for dining inside and a few tables outside.

Conveniently located on Main Street and serving Counter Culture coffee and pastries for visitors and locals. Indoor and outdoor seating. Owners clearly care about quality. Quickly became our go-to coffee shop in town.
