Overheard the bartender talk about how good the fish and chips were while I was waiting for a table. Did not disappoint. The most magnificent crunch You’ll ever crunch. Sweet tea was good. They also offered to pour The remaining of my sweet tea into it to go cup for the road. Also, it wasn’t crazy expensive.

A small bar with good burgers and fries. The server was nice, and gave beer recommendations based on our flavor preference. We ordered the jalapeño business burger. Fresh jalapeños were the star and you have 5 choices of cheese. The fries I thought were just slightly undercooked, but I like a crunchy fry. Still ate them and added malt vinegar.

Small pub. Best fried mushrooms we've ever had! Food was good. Although the fish and chips didn't have a lot of taste. Not bad, just no seasoning. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff

I rarely write a review but Brooks Tavern deserves a shout out. You can get a good burger just about anywhere these days but the burgers at Brooks Tavern are exceptional. I had the Smashed Burger and my wife had the Original Big Brooks Burger. They were both seasoned and cooked to perfection. Standing ovation to the chef, waiter and the burger!

Just another happenstance find. We walked in and knew this was the place. Exceptional fish and chips, very thick, hearty portions, the large order easily fed two hungry souls, and the salted caramel cheese cake was too good to finish! The bartender was excellent and personable and the wait staff friendly and efficient. Just a gem of a find in the heart of Hendersonville, NC.
