Last night, we went to Claywood and it was SPECTACULAR!!! The vibe was perfect- live music, busy, very attentive and lovely team and food was fantastic! We come to Hendersonville twice a year, for 20 years, and prob best meal we have had in Hendersonville. We shared smaller plates - gnocchi (best ever had- perfectly cooked large gnocchi with the best homemade pesto and crunchy bacon I will dream about), squash with roasted pecans and popcorn with a squash puree, pork belly cooked perfectly, and shared the beef bolognese that was so flavorful. You could tell every dish was crafted with so much love and thought. For dessert we had a chai crème brûlée with caramel popcorn- wow!! We loved it and was off the beaten path. It was my husband's birthday and they had a note from the chef and birthday card waiting for us. Definitely recommend and can't wait to go back on our next trip!!

We were in town for the weekend and found this gem. The staff and service was great - we didn't feel rushed. We were there on Sunday and they were running pasta special. We enjoyed our dinner - grilled squash, dry aged beef bolognese and the pasta special (seasonal salad, aged beef lasagna and dessert). We were given an extra chocolate cake dessert as well - delicious! We would recommend making a dinner date here!

Excellent atmosphere! Great cocktails, had the Gunsmoke cocktail and it was tasty! We had the gnocchi appetizer and the short rib pot pies. Gnocchi was fun with the leek pesto and ham, and the potpie was so tender and flavorful! We ended with the pumpkin cheesecake which was delicious! Overall great night out with great service and food!

A friend of mine and I visited last night for a quick sip and a few hors d’oeuvres. We tried the most incredible sweet potato hush puppies! They were the perfect mix of sweet, salty, crunchy and melt in your mouth delicious! We also had the feta dip with focaccia, which was really good too. The cocktails were very creative and delicious and I also enjoyed the wine. The atmosphere is open, friendly, and not too noisy. Super cool place! We greatly enjoyed our time and talking to staff as well.

Anniversary dinner and it was amazing. Emily our server was attentive and very helpful with our requests. The drinks were very good (Fig & Maple and the Agave y Ayote)The homemade bread was very tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. We had the short rib pot pie and the dry aged beef bolognese (my wife said it was the best bolognese she has ever had). Also enjoyed the chocolate cake and another best ever - the espresso martini. Thank you Claywood for a great evening.
