Enjoyed a fantastic meal tonight at Claywood. I suggest everyone go check it out. The gorgeous new 7th ave leading into a rustic cozy spot restaurant that had great beverage options. The highlight of the night was Cher Tory Bogin’s fall menu. The beef shank I had was amazing and my wife says the homemade pasta was the best she had ever had! Please go support Claywood. What an awesome place!

Happily stumbled upon this gem when looking for a last minute reservation this past Saturday night. The food was amazing, the craft cocktails were spectacular and the bartender (Brad?), who was also our server, was attentive and pleasant. We appreciated the fact the manager came and checked on us, and multiple times thanked us for our patience and for dining with them. We look forward to going back soon.

Absolutely Love this bar and their Bar Menu. So wonderful to have a place for the non-beer drinkers! The Winter menu was good but I do miss the Charcuterie Boards- they were great for a couple to share. We do not eat meat - so we went with a few starters as our dinner- basically made our own charcuterie board. Definitely recommend this place for the atmosphere, menu and service!

My grandson Ezra is a Sous Chef at this establishment.
It has nothing to do with my review, but I'm extremely proud of his accomplishment in having elevated himself to the position of A Sous Chef when he applied for the position of dishwasher.
They saw his potential and accommodated him accordingly.
Great environment, great service, altogether a wonderful experience.
Unfortunately I do not have pics of what we ordered...
In general...
Absolutely wonderful experience...

Claywood is a gem and provides a unique experience in our area. The chef is very innovative with his use of seasonal local ingredients, providing variety that results in a delicious meal every time we go there. We like that the small plates and larger plates (entrees) are prepared and served to be shared. That allows for trying more of the yummy dishes. Great cocktails and wine list to accompany the food add to the experience.
Lastly, the obvious owner involvement and attention to detail makes you feel welcome and valued.

My sister and I enjoyed dinner at Claywood on Saturday during a quick trip to Hendersonville. Given all that the area has been through, it is impressive that they still were able to put together a delicious menu despite limited ingredients available. Our waiter was excellent, the owner so incredibly kind and friendly, and the decor was perfect-comfy and sophisticated. We look forward to returning on our next trip.

Absolutely wonderful and unique food with an impressive array of game meats like boar and pheasant. The staff is knowledgable and engaging, and go above and beyond to ensure your fining experience is top-notch. Everything we had was delicious, though I particularly recommend the bison sliders!
