Cognative Brew House

I paid $5.36 for a friggin cup of coffee that I didn't finish because it tasted burnt. Can't imagine how much a mocha costs!!!!

Wonderful vibes and good selection of coffee house drinks and little bites. Owner is super supportive of the community especially after hurricane helene. Opened probably before they were ready just to give people place to commune and access to internet. Love it.

Excellent coffee shop. Friendly baristas, really cool atmosphere inside with some nice MTB threads to shop through too (have multiple goods of theirs and they are super durable on the trail). Company performed some serious community service right after Helene by distributing goods even when the shop was shut down! This company is worth my business year round, love supporting small local businesses, seems like they really love the community too.

Right across 64 from the Ecusta Trail you have the Cognitive Brew House which is where we stopped today. The brewhouse, although not a beer brewery, has beer on tap and is far more than a coffee shop. They’ve got a mouth watering menu which features an array of bakery goods and avocado toast. They have phenomenal craft coffee and they do have beer in the cooler and on tap so you can’t miss really whatever’s on your agenda. They always have Bike clothes and other bike paraphernalia, the staff is great helpful and attentive and the food is great. Plus the indoor outdoor seating as well as ample parking perfect spot to stop whether you’re driving or biking.

I had coffee and avocado toast. It's such a pretty place but thr experience gets ruined due to the young guy speaking loud as possible on a business phone call. No one wants to hear your business. It's rude and arrogant. Why does he think this is his living room? Can anyone explain?

Beautifully themed and decorated. Friendly, hardworking staff. Very clean. Cookie was tasty. I didn't care for my drink. I got a mocha frappe, but it wasn't sweet at all. I did not taste any mocha, or sweetness. Seemed like it only contained cream/milk, ice and coffee. Perhaps I was supposed to ask for sweetener when I ordered? They told me I could use the simple syrup by the napkins and straws area to sweeten it up. That helped some. Coffee was nice and strong though. I'll try again and ask more questions next time because I am glad they are there.

The coffee is fantastic, but it's Jenny who's truly impressive. While mixing the most complicated coffee orders (non-whip, double pump, hand mixed) she can recite the many, many, different gluten free sweets while remembering that you asked for 2%. My sisters and I loved her! Glorious coffee smells as you enter the gorgeous shop. Plenty of comfortable seating, inside and out. Yummy-looking GF sweets and avocado toast. Can't wait to go back.
