Excellent. The food tastes like someone’s grandmother made it

We recently attended a wedding that Daddy D's catered. The menu was fried chicken, Mac & cheese with green beans and collard greens. The food was absolutely delicious & the caterers were lovely. I look forward to enjoying more of their food at their restaurant.

Hard to figure out where the front door is. Lots of construction.

Wonderful, home-cooked soul food. The mac and cheese was our favorite but the fried fish was just right! Much love to everyone working there.

Finally made it to Daddy D's and now I feel as though I've cheated myself for not going sooner. My "trifecta" is good food, served by good folks, at good prices" and Daddy D's exceeded expectations. I went for catfish, but didn't realize they had a buffet so I was treated to fish, chicken, and pork chops. I'm a fan of the fish & chicken but when served a pork chop fresh from the kitchen I had to try it, and it was the best bite of my meal. For sides I'm usually good with collards and mac n cheese, but they had lots more. Rice and gravy, black eyes, yams, tater salad, but the pintos got my attention. A bowl of pintos with their cornbread would've been a fine meal on it's own!
If this type of food is your thing you gotta go check them out! Parking and access is tough right now due to construction, and after speaking to them today it's clear that the ongoing construction is a challenge for them as business is way down. Construction was supposed to be complete last month, but now the target is November and from looking at the mess I saw today I'm not sure that's realistic.
So...if you want to enjoy a great meal, meet some nice folks, and help a local business navigate a tough time head over to Daddy D's. Don't miss the pork chop...and no matter how much you eat on the buffet, don't skip dessert cuz the apple pie is worth it! :-)

First timer this past week and I will be back many more times!!! Buffet food was sooooo good and tasteful. Great price. Make sure to overlook the road construction 🚧 and make your way over for a great lunch!!
