What do you do when you are presented with a Mushroom-Spinach-and Feta Omelette as pretty as this one?
First you take a moment to admire it because it was prepared specifically for YOU and was beautifully plated. Then you pick up your fork, dig in and savor every single, flavorful bite!
Then you thank Chef Taylor, Donna and Ken at Dixie Diner, 1724 Brevard Road in Hendersonville for a job well done! Omelette and English Muffin perfection and superb, friendly service! You are treated like family at Dixie Diner! “Nothing Could Be Finer!” ❤
My omelette was GENEROUSLY filled with fresh sautéed mushrooms, spinach and crumbled feta cheese. You can also order it as egg white omelette as well, which we often do! It comes with homefries or grits, choice of bread. We ask for fresh fruit and an English muffin instead. I like my Eng muffin toasted well, if you like yours that way be sure to ask for it. Their omelettes and scrambles are ALWAYS top notch. Always beautifully plated… you definitely eat with your eyes first at Dixie. 🤩 😋 ❤

This used to be the best breakfast place in town hands down. Ever since the change in ownership this once great diner is now one of the worst in the area. We used to go here a couple times a month, have only gone twice in the past 2 years and was very disappointed each time. Both times we went under the new ownership and the owner (man) was there and you could tell by his demeanor that he just doesn't care. The quality of the food is subpar and honestly just gross. Couple that with an owner who has no clue what he's doing and this once fantastic diner is now the bottom of the barrel for the area. It's a shame and tragic what happened to the previous owner. At one time I would have recommended this place to everyone I know and have brought many friends here, now I'll actively tell people to avoid this place. It's truly a shame what happened to this once great diner.
Came back to adjust my review after reading the owners response to other negative reviews. It seems like his answer to every complaint about price is "maybe our employees should take a pay cut". It is absolutely absurd that an owner would speak like that publicly about their employees. I genuinely feel bad for anyone who is working there. The owners of this establishment need a serious reality check because they are hands down the worst in the industry.

Always good food and service, I try to get there every week, I enjoy meeting my contractors there, I have never had a bad experience with them, my contractors friends all agreed to meet there to have our meeting once a week and we are never disappointed, thanks for letting us enjoy your restaurant and always have a good meeting with my friend and employees, Thanks again and may God bless you and your family and business, see you soon.
One of the best places to get a great breakfast or lunch any day of the week. Menu is full of delicious happy belly food choices. You're not going to find "designer" food, but what you will find will be delicious.

Use to love coming here but the food prices are outrageous. They wanna charge you 12-18 $ for breakfast plates? And $8 for just french toast or waffles, seems exorbitant. Also on weekend they have their breakfast bar but between 3 people with just iced water and coffee plus 3 buffets equals over $60. Needless to say ill never come here again, there smoking crack if they think there food is worth that much.

Shout out to Dixie Diner in Hendersonville!
My Egg White Omelette was filled to the brim with Goat Cheese and Mushrooms. The mushrooms were nice large slices with a perfect amount of goat cheese. Expertly created by Chef McKenzie at the Dixie Diner in Hendersonville, NC. My English Muffin was toasted to perfection. The girl has talent! It was absolutely AMAZING! I ate it slow so I could relish every single bite. Today, Hayley was our waitress extraordinaire.
We enjoy having our Sunday breakfast at Dixie. Their food is always cooked just right with picture perfect presentation. You definitely eat with your eyes first at Dixie. The entire staff knows what they are doing and they put a lot of care into their food and service. Dixie truly cares about their customers. You become their family when you have breakfast or lunch at Dixie. Very welcoming and sincere. It definitely takes a village to make a restaurant great. Kudos to everyone and to Ken, the owner, for having amazing staff….Chef Max, Hannah, Chef Taylor, McKenzie, Reba, Hayley, Donna, Kelsey, Chef James and everyone else on staff.
