Our apartment complex had block party last week and I decided to try the catfish dinner and baby I tell you it was the best seasoned and fry just right catfish I have tasted in a long time, so good that I went back 2 hours later and bought two more pieces. Did I tell you about the yellow rice, yum!

haven’t tried it because all 3 times i’ve tried to come they are closed. Very upset by this. Three separate times at different times.Sucks, we saw another car pull up and leave because they were closed.Like are yall temporarily closed or what?! update your hours and stop misleading people.

I have been driving by this place for a number of years now and finally stopped in today. What a wonderful experience. The service was good and friendly, the food was excellent. We went in as a party of four all ordering different entrees. Everything was delicious.

We stopped for lunch and we’re very glad that we did. The wings, brisket, pulled pork, and especially the fried corn were all delicious! We will definitely be back!

First time visiting today for lunch after being told about this restaurant by a friend. We were not disappointed & will definitely be back! The Smoked Wings were flavorful & tender. We tried Teriyaki & J**** We also tried the Fried Okra and added Garlic Parmesan when the cashier told us it was her favorite way to eat it. Very tasty!Planning on going back and taking family and friends. There are several more menu items we want to try such as the Brisket and also the Tacos. Great food & service!

Known for their wings but everything is amazing.Try the fried corn.Chicken strips are seemingly a whole chicken each, I have a huge appetite and can usually not finish it. It’s a little on the pricy side but you get what you pay for: absolutely delicious food, with great service. The owner and employees are all super nice as well.

Seen this place on Restaurant Impossible with Robert Irvine and had to try it. Food was good. Would have liked the wings to be more crispy, but they were moist and delicious anyway. (Guess I'm just used to Buffalo wings from the Anchor bar in Buffalo NY). Had the patty melt and it was so buttery and the fried Okra complimented it nicely. Staff was super nice & friendly. I even got to meet Mr. Raynard Walker, the owner & shake his hand. We'll be back to try some of the other interesting menu items.

Really enjoyed our lunch at DLK☺️ We had seen them on Restaurant Impossible and were excited to stop in.We were very warmly welcomed upon entering and the place is charming. Was neat to see what Chef Irvine & his team had done with the place and Ray & his team are taking great care of it.I ordered the fried salmon bites, collard greens, sweet potato tots & sweet tea, and my hubby ordered a dozen wings, patty mely, fried okra, and coke zero. We satbdown at a cozy 2-seater table, but our sweet waitress said with all the food coming, we would have much elbow room & she wanted to let us know. We took her word and moved to a 4-seater table nearby. She was right! Omg! Great servings for great price (as you can see from pics) and it was delicious! The salmon bites were paired with a spicy Asian sauce that was delicious, the greens were perfect, and those tender tots were perfect. My hubby really enjoyed his patty melt (as did I when I tasted it!)that was flavorful and hit you from the first taste of the crisp tender bread rich with butter. I kept stealing his okra, which was also just right and ate at least half his wings! Lol. Said I was hungry!!!We will be back again as I want to try out his ox tail as well as the catfish bites and banana pudding.Next time you're up that way between Lake Lure and Grand Dads Orchard, please stop in. You won't be disappointed. Also, as update from something I saw in an older post, the now take cash or card?

Incredible food and incredible service!!! Best wings I’ve had in my life, every flavor was phenomenal, salmon bites and collard greens were to die for. The food came out very fast and they were literally some of the nicest staff I’ve ever met. If you don’t go here asap, you’re missing out!

Best wings in town. We've been here multiple times and I can't think of a time where I was dissatisfied with what I ordered. It's always amazing! The staff is always friendly; Courtney and our kiddo are best buds and she always takes time to talk to him. Thank you, DLK! We love y'all!
