Kilwins Hendersonville

I stopped into the Kilwins in Downtown Hendersonville on my recent trip, based on positive past experiences. The fudge is in front of the store and I was given a sample when I arrived. That was dry so I ordered different flavors. It turns out those were dry and not freshly made too. I'd say it was at least 3 days old if not more. I'd never been served old, dry fudge at a Kilwins before, so I will need to be more cautious in the future before buying. I should have realized if the sample was old and dry the rest of it likely was too.

I bought some prepackaged boxes too before I left. All of these items were placed in a white paper bag. It couldn't handle the weight and ripped about a block away. I'm not sure why I wasn't given an adequate bag for the weight.

This was a disappointing experience and not the store I remember. I suspect the owners changed. I will not stop again.

Best shop on main st

I saw that they had the Dubai bon bons and wanted to try them. I had my first Dubai chocolate bar a week ago (from the Hot Spot gas station) and the pistachio cream, tahini and kataifi combined with the milk chocolate was absolutely delectable. Kilwins had the dark chocolate Dubai bon bons so I tried them. At $4.50 per bon bon (not even a quarter size in diameter) they were terrible. Could barely taste the pistachio cream and overall a super sorry version of the Dubai chocolate bar. I could've bought 2 dubai chocolate bars from Hot Spot for what I spent on these bon bons (the bar is $14.99). I do not recommend, zero stars.

Great hand made ice cream. What a treat!

Ice cream is very good. The smell when you walk in may make you gain 5 lbs

If you are looking for a sweet treat and great atmosphere, this is your place! I have been in other Kilwins and they are good as well but there is a friendliness and comfort in the Hendersonville location.

Many times when we are dining in downtown Hendersonville we will just skip dessert at the restaurant because we know Kilwins is close by. Always great service and scrumptious ice cream, chocolates and much more to cure your sweet tooth.

First time there. The entire place smells so sweet! There is an amazing variety of chocolate, peanut brittle,etc.

Are you kidding me???? $13 for a freaking milkshake? Never ever again!! Absolutely last time I will ever step foot in there. There is NO reason for the price. NONE!!! You should be ashamed of yourselves!!!

Always the Best fudge!!!

Nice selection. Great staff. The only thing lacking is, for those with peanut allergies, the peanut butter candies are spread throughout the cases. We felt a little leary of the items that could have cross-contamination issues that were near peanut candy.

It ain't cheap, but boy it sure is good!
