I brought three middle-school age boys here for a treat on a recent weekend. They truly enjoyed their experience. The restaurant is bright, open, and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. My verdes tamale was large and tasty and the boys enjoyed dorilocos, fruta preparada, and a frozen fruit bar. Prices were fair. We will be back.

Brand new ice cream and snack place that just opened right next door to a brand new Mexican market. I stumbled across this gem when the ice cream place I was going to closed at 7:30pm, but I'm so glad the plan changed to La Vida Loca! I got the banana split, 3 scoops of ice cream, a whole banana, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, sprinkles... how did I not get a picture of all that goodness?! It was just the right size to share. And super tasty! One of the ice cream flavors was Ferrero Roche! Beyond ice cream, there are a ton of snacks, like Dorilocos, tamales, and more, so whatever you're craving, they've got it. The place is super clean and has such a fun decor that I can see it becoming a popular hangout. Only downside is it's just a bit expensive; not crazy expensive, but enough that it becomes an infrequent treat instead of a regular thing. Pro tip: the location is in the same shopping center as a couple other restaurants, so it makes for a whole night-out experience of dinner and dessert, or maybe just grab a cone while shopping at the market next door.
