Mezzaluna, located in Hendersonville, offers a great dining experience with delicious food and commendable service. The beautiful patio provides a pleasant alfresco dining option. While the Margherita pizza was described as just mediocre, the fig pizza and other dishes received positive feedback. For dessert, the NY cheesecake with raspberry sauce is highly recommended. The pepperoni, jalapeno, and bacon pizza is noteworthy for its crispy crust and generous toppings. The tiramisu is a smooth, rich, and not too sweet dessert. Crab cakes are moist and perfectly seasoned, and the fried oysters are crispy and plump. Pizzas are perfect for two with a great selection, with the Supreme being a favorite. The Joey’s Super Deluxe pizza was pretty good, and the traditional Caesar salad was enjoyed. Parking can be a bit challenging, with limited street parking and a new parking structure located a few blocks away. The staff and atmosphere are excellent, with tentative and friendly service. The drink menu is vast. Mezzaluna hits a home run and meets the expectations of a great restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Yes. Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty.
