Pizza was terrible and no flavor. Doughy texture to crust and not cooked fully.. soggy and spongy in the middle. Must be new or inexperienced cooks. Will not be visiting there again.

Noisey environment. The food lacked taste and was overpriced for what you get. Servings were skimpy at best.

Stopped by Mezzaluna in Hendersonville for a quick takeout order and was thoroughly impressed. I ordered a pepperoni, jalapeno, and bacon pizza, and they nailed it—crispy crust, generous toppings, and just the right amount of spice to give it a nice kick without overwhelming the flavors. It’s hard to find a pizza that balances everything so well, but this one hit the mark. I also grabbed a tiramisu for dessert, and it didn’t disappoint. Smooth, rich, and not too sweet, it was the perfect end to the meal.

The standout, though, was the service from Haley at the bar. She handled my order with ease, was friendly and efficient, and made sure every detail was correct. It’s clear she cares about her work and the experience customers have, even for takeout orders. She had everything packed up neatly and double-checked to ensure nothing was missed—small touches that make a big difference.

If you’re looking for quality food in Hendersonville and a place where the service is just as good as the food, Mezzaluna is definitely worth a stop. I’ll be back again soon to try more of the tasty looking menu. Pizza is just one of many different entree's on their rich menu! Thanks y'all

Had an extremely frustrating experience trying to eat at Mezzaluna in Hendersonville last night. We came in around 5:45pm on a Friday night. Restaurant is medium busy, not on a wait, open tables and booths.

I was with my disabled son and my wife had dropped me off to find a parking space as my son can't walk long distances. I told the hostess I needed a booth as my son can't eat at a table and was told booths were reserved only for large parties. I look around and of the 6 or 7 booths that could accomodate us, 2 are empty, 3-4 have parties of 2, and one party of 3 or 4 huests. When I pointed out that they had empty booths and not one of the other booths had a "large" party at them, i was snidely told by the host, "*I* didn't seat those tables". The implication of course that she is the only one that follows the rule and does her job properly.

At that point, I stepped outside to cool down and so as not to disturb other customers. I was also quite angry and don't believe in taking it out on some misguided employee. After stewing for a couple of minutes, I decided I wasn't ok with that answer and stepped in, waited for the host to return to the front , and told them that I needed for the manager to tell me that my son, wife and I could not be reasonably accomodated at a booth. Again, the restaurant was not full and not on a wait list.

I waited a couple of more minutes and then stepped outside as my son was getting agitated being made to stand in one place and I didn't want to disturb other guests. I was actually too upset to want to take the time to go back in and talk to the manager after getting my son back in the car with my wife.

My son is 20 years old, 5'11, 200lbs, non verbal, humming, rocks back and forth, is watching Elmo videos on his ipad, and quite clearly has special needs. I told the host I *needed* a booth because of my son.

Sadly, as I only had one hand free (the other holding my son the entire time), I did not document the restaurant's refusal to provide reasonable accomodations for my son, my wife, and I so my only recourse is to make sure I tell everyone that I know, that stays at my campground, or that I serve that Mezzaluna is not accomodating of special needs.

It's a shame because I live in Cedar Mountain and travel to Charlotte, NC frequently so my son and I have eaten here many a Friday night on my way home and never been refused accomodations before.

You would think an Italian restaurant hole in the wall would be some of the best Italian food you would have but I was wrong. The food was not good at all the crust on the pizza was so tough. The pizza didn’t come cut I had to cut it with a butter knife because our server never came back to the table after dropping off our food. The meatball sub was dry and only had 1 meatball in it??? I wanted a little more sauce but like I said before the server never came back. My drink sat empty for the entire night never got refilled once and the hosts at the front were squealing about some man dressed as pennywise walking main street which ended up being the reason our server never came back because he was distracted. We were the only table in his section and after the commotion with the clown he was standing towards the back on his phone while our drinks were still empty and waiting on boxes and check. (My wife didn’t get the chance to eat the pizza since it never came cut and the crust was so touch to cut). I would’ve thought our waiter would have got the hint he should come to the table when I had to walk to the table with the computer on it and grab a box myself. And then we waited 20 minutes for our check which we were actively watching him stand on his phone and talk to the other servers. The only good thing about this place was the stuffed banana peppers but even then they aren’t good enough to have to sit in a restaurant that won’t bring you refills and takes 20 minutes to bring you your check. There was one specific table I had my eye on because 3 separate family’s came in ate paid and left in the time that we sat down ate and left. 3!!! (They did have a different server though) terrible food terrible service the hosts squealing and screaming ruined it too. Just save the time and the money and go to Olive Garden the food sucks but at least they give you refills.

They sent out RAW and COLD barely seared steaks (We ordered medium and medium well).
Server tried to make it up to us, reheat or cook new ones, ended up taking over 45 minutes to bring new food.
Party of 8 and 4 out of 5 steaks were RAW, the 4 kids had to eat and wait on the adults food, then us to hurry and eat because their getting restless.
Everyone brags about this place but, they served RAW steaks and NEVER 1 Apology from a manager, owner or chief! They just left it up to the server to try and fix this HUGE screw up!
NEVER AGAIN!

First off the staff and atmosphere are excellent wether you're at a table or at the bar, they are tentative and friendly. The drink menu is vast and I recommend any of the apps. My friends and I love to sit at the bar and have apps. Crab cakes are so moist and perfectly seasoned and the fried oysters are crispy and plump. Their pizzas are perfect for two with a great selection, my favorite being the Supreme. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the risotto. A date and I had two different chicken dishes and both had gummy, overcooked risotto. Anytime you can turn your plate over and it sticks to it, you know you've missed the mark. Overall, Mezzaluna hits a home run and meets the expectations of a great restaurant.

Bland food, 36 dollars for a 10 ounce ribeye that barely came with a bite of potatoes, and then the waitress gets upset because I don't want to tip her 26 dollars for bringing me a few glasses of wine, I would never touch that place again
