Ordered 2 Reubens and there was no taste to the sandwich. Not in the meat or the sauce. The bread was amazing. The hard part was 4 people came in after us and 1 ordered a Reuben and he was out the door before our order. Very disappointed

?Horrible subs!! I ordere a veggie sub that was all bread (on the wrong bread too) with the skimpiest veggies I have ever seen on a sandwich. I took the insides from each half of sandwich and combined it together and it still wasn't even a full sandwich. I don't know how the person who made it is not embarrassed and how it even left the kitchen. I ordered extra cheese I barely got a single piece of cheese, when I called to let them know I was not satisfied and they took off the price for the extra cheese ($1.50) and the salad ($3.50) that was messed up, so $5 off a $57 bill. It's not even about the money it's the principle of the thing. The ENTIRE order was horrible, but at least offer to pay for the sub that was completely messed up. Even my husband who hardly ever complains was dissatisfied. I don't know how people are saying this place is good cuz it is not!!! I would rather eat at Subway and they are the worst..

Monte's Sub Shop is hands down the best Sub shop we have had out here in WNC. I have tried several of the sandwiches and they are all delicious! Friendly hard working staff, and great food.

Pshhh who doesn't love the subs at Monte's! I almost don't want to tell how good the friday soup of the day is because I wouldn't want it to run out before I get there but the lobster bisque is oh so good!

Great subs and beers... best Cuban Sandwich, soups, salads and friendly service. They do eat-in, takeout and delivery using a third party delivery service. My favorite is the Full Monte!
Got take out on our trip to North Carolina. So many restaurants were closed in Hendersonville on a Tuesday night. Luckily we found Monte’s. We shared a Jedi Order Wrap. It had a generous portion of Turkey, Millennium Falcon mustard, avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and marinated onions. Big enough to share. We also shared a chef salad. It had the usual ham, turkey, cheese, tomatoes, onions and of course lettuce. With a big cookie, which was also outstanding, it was about $22. Location is in a shopping area of a few shops. Plenty of parking.
