I love Mountain Deli. Every time I go there it’s consistently the same. I love getting the Italian sub. Hot or cold, it’s great. My only complaint is they’re not open more.

First Time Visitor..Was looking for a recommended Deli in the area and this was the one all signs pointed to.Very impressed with everything here..Great Staff and they really avoid using all the processed meats most sandwich places are using nowadays.All the meats looked house roasted and all the veggies are from local farms.I will never complain paying a few extra bucks for a higher quality sandwich that is much more healthy.On to the food as between the three of us we had a Pastrami on Marble Rye..Roast Turkey on Sour Dough and a Salmon BLT and we all raved about them and finished every bite.Place has a large menu with so many more things I want to try.We will definitely return here in the future to sample many more of their sandwiches..Very highly recommend

Really great lunch today. First time in and got the pesto chicken sandwich, potato salad, and chocolate chip cookie to go. The flavors on the sandwich blended very well and were interesting in a good way. The potato salad was average but not bad. And the cookie was on the crunchier side but loaded with soft large chocolate chips, so yummy. Will be back often.

We had an awful experience here. The woman who appeared to be the owner (a slim white female with brown hair) was shockingly rude to me and my family. It was pouring rain, and we had no choice but to stand under the small covered area outside just to keep our little boy dry. Instead of showing even a shred of kindness, she aggressively waved her hands at us like we were stray animals and actually put her hands on my elderly father, pushing him to move. The complete lack of respect, compassion, and basic decency was appalling. I would never recommend supporting a business that treats people this way.

Delicious experience! We enjoyed a turkey BLT and the smoked pit ham - yummy! Service was friendly and efficient during the busy lunch hour rush.
Staff was incredibly rude and the immediate person you meet just points in the direction completely across the deli to order. When asking for a Togo box they didn’t even make contact with my partner as they handed them a brown bag. As I was putting my sandwich in the bag I hear him say “oh thank god a regular” and someone came up the bar. Staff made the whole experience terrible and I’m a local….been here my whole life and I guess now I know why nobody has ever wanted to go.

The wife & I decided to stop in for a quick bite, having never visited here before. First off, they have a good sized menu with plenty of choices but I don't think there's a bad choice on it. My Italian sub was delicious and my wife's egg salad on toasted Sourdough was tasty as well. The folks didn't rush us and let us take our time checking out the entire menu. After we ordered, we paid and then grabbed a booth. They brought our food out after it had been prepared. We always like to taste each other's food and we weren't disappointed at the flavors on either one. In fact, we're already looking forward to going back. (Probably several times and taking family too with the GF option available.) I'm not sure what my next option will be... maybe rare roast beef with horseradish sauce and whatever else they add?? I'm surprised my wife didn't get the turkey with cranberry sauce, but maybe next time for her. ? We need to make another trip to Hendersonville to return a parcel, so no better time than then.

Sandwiches were massive. I had the chicken salad BLT. Would have preferred it without the aioli sauce, but didn't request it, so my fault. Had 6 people in our group so had to sit at 2 tables, since all tables held either 4 or 2. Not near each other, either.... If it was closer to home I would have taken half home, but were from out of town, so ended up throwing more than half away. Don't know how the server remembered who ordered what, but found us at our table without asking, when our food was ready, which amazed me! Very busy place at lunchtime on a Wednesday. We were lucky to find seats when we ordered, since there aren't a lot of seats, considering the amount of business they were doing. Good food, quickly prepared.
