Nora's New York Pizzeria & Italian Eatery

Server refused to serve us because we were LGBTQ. Completely disorganized. Server is (I'm assuming, as she was the only person I saw) left to go to Ingles to buy ingredients for meal. Someone was asleep in the corner of the restaurant. Moped parked inside in the hall. "Chef" would not come out and talk. Definitely not ready to be open. Weird, dark, creepy vibe.

Nora's moved from their Asheville Hwy address to Church St in downtown Hendersonville. Went for a pizza and was very disappointed: long wait, no beer / wine / alcohol, no atmosphere, and the worst pizza I have ever had. Flavorless, like cardboard. Will never return.

The food is phenomenal! Love the inside of the new location! So cute and perfect for a simple date night!?

Just do it!! Amazing food, great service, and even better dessert!!! There is a group of us that come in often after work and the staff always makes us feel at home and the food is always delicious and hot!

Stromboli was huge, filled with a generous amount of cheese and meats. Bread was golden brown and crunchy. Everything tasted wonderful.

I've gone here several times, I believe 4 in total, and 3 of the times it was great. The last time, however, was terrible and unacceptable. I paid for a pizza I never received because of an error from an employee. I ordered online for lunch and they were closed for lunch. When I went to pick it up, after the time the email said it would be ready, she said that she'd meant to turn off online ordering but couldn't refund my order until that evening. She instructed me to come back later that day for a refund, which I did. She fiddled with a computer but apparently just pretended to give me a refund, based on my credit card statement now a week later.

As a former GM with the Olive Garden they sent me to stores all around this country. I cannot think of one restaurant, even 1 in Hendersonville or Ashville or anything where the principal owner and cook chef extraordinaire literally brings your order to your house to make absolutely sure she has 100% send. Yes delight Nora, you have 100% guest delights. I am beyond grateful and look forward to More of your credible food. Thank you so much from that's very, very grateful Guest.

The mussels marinara was fabulous. It's one of my favorite dishes and they do a great job with it. The marinara sauce itself is worth the visit.

First time here. How is this considered NY style pizza? No flavor and way too much bread. Ceaser dressing was runny… more like a vinaigrette. Ordered online, got confirmation of the order both via email and text, showed up and they had no record of the order. Had to wait 40 minutes for them to make the order. Asked if I could sit and have a beer while I waited. No one ever came to take my order. Will never be back. Way overpriced and bad food/service.

I got a chicken parm hero and I subbed the fries for a salad, and both were delicious! The sub was perfectly cooked and the salad had extra onions like I asked! I will definitely be back for more awesome food!

It's been a long time since I've found the most accurate Italian restaurant that has an amazing sauce! I'm extremely picky about it.. every time I try a new place I go right in a try the spaghetti.. most places claim the are the best and I don't see how they survive.. Most Italian restaurants around have super watery sauce a real Italian wants heartless and not watered down flavorless sauce.. Nora's is as close to my preference Italian food in over 15 years besides making my own sauce.. it's comforting to know I can have a decent meal just down the road... and don't get me starting the deserts... My boyfriend is hooked and that's all I hear I need to get me a vanilla square or cheesecake, and whatever else they have that day.. it's fairly expensive but so worth it I promise! Another bonus the atmosphere is remarkable from walking down the sidewalk to dining in.

I am sorry to say that I was disappointed. I ordered the spaghetti for lunch which took the longest over everyone else's order with more complex meals. I didn't have time to eat much even though I had over a hour lunch time. For fifteen dollars the portion could be bigger with some meat and a garlic roll at least.I do appreciate management offering me a gift card or discount, thank you.

I took my mother to this restaurant. It was a first time experience for both of us. We were impressed by the quality of the food and the friendliness of all the staff! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for delicious Italian food and a fun dining experience! Jonathan Lavoie, Wow! Very pleased!
