Nora's moved from their Asheville Hwy address to Church St in downtown Hendersonville. Went for a pizza and was very disappointed: long wait, no beer / wine / alcohol, no atmosphere, and the worst pizza I have ever had. Flavorless, like cardboard. Will never return.

New location in uptown Hendersonville. First visit. Stopped in for NY pizza. Was extremely satisfied! Thin crispy crust, a touch of olive oil, cooked to perfection, loaded with ingredients and flavor. Brick oven pizza at its best!

My headline , how does the only place that makes desserts this good which don't exist anywhere else in the south, but look like they belong in a New Jersey diner rotating refrigerator, also make such delicious savory Italian foodChef, Jonathan is not just an amazing pastry chef , he's also a really nice dude that makes incredible Italian foodFood is 10 out of five, I have enjoyed everything here from the lasagna and veal marsala, to the baked manicotti, and delicious cioppino and the pizza and calzones and Stromboli. Caesar salad dressing, homemade and delicious. The only place to get true New York, pizza, in Hendersonville, unless you want vegan pizza This is just the dinner. Unbelievably chef Jonathan puts out a dazzling array of impressively large and perfectly cooked Northeastern desserts. Cheesecake., giant chocolate eclairs., napoleons, the best cannolis around Asheville, perfectly moist strawberry, coconut cake, the list goes on and on, my family won't order tiramisu out because I make a very authentic recipe at home, Jonathan's tiramisu is even worth eating. This dude is truly an incredible chef. To quote his daughter for whom the restaurant is named who is often there, my dad he goes to the farmers market to buy his vegetables fresh every day. Yes he does.I am so sad that we don't have Nora's open at the moment . The last time I cooked on epic Italian dinner at home I just came here to get desserts. But you can be sure when I want to calzone or an antipasto salad loaded with perfectly cooked chicken and an evil garlic knot. I will come to Noras over and over again. The three and two star reviews make no sense to me. The service is hit and miss and sometimes it takes a long time. People should understand. I hear them pounding out there meat fresh to order. If you want faster service, I recommend Olive Garden. Otherwise just come here and wait for it and enjoy the quirky environment and the delicious food that will come out. It's a small family business and it deserves five stars because it's incredible the output they are doing with such a small staff. Final verdict, I love you Nora's will you go steady with me.

I've gone here several times, I believe 4 in total, and 3 of the times it was great. The last time, however, was terrible and unacceptable. I paid for a pizza I never received because of an error from an employee. I ordered online for lunch and they were closed for lunch. When I went to pick it up, after the time the email said it would be ready, she said that she'd meant to turn off online ordering but couldn't refund my order until that evening. She instructed me to come back later that day for a refund, which I did. She fiddled with a computer but apparently just pretended to give me a refund, based on my credit card statement now a week later.

As a former GM with the Olive Garden they sent me to stores all around this country. I cannot think of one restaurant, even 1 in Hendersonville or Ashville or anything where the principal owner and cook chef extraordinaire literally brings your order to your house to make absolutely sure she has 100% send. The mussels marinara was fabulous. It's one of my favorite dishes and they do a great job with it. The marinara sauce itself is worth the visit.

First time here. How is this considered NY style pizza? No flavor and way too much bread. Ceaser dressing was runny… more like a vinaigrette. Ordered online, got confirmation of the order both via email and text, showed up and they had no record of the order. Had to wait 40 minutes for them to make the order. Asked if I could sit and have a beer while I waited. No one ever came to take my order. Will never be back. Way overpriced and bad food/service.

We live in NY and needed to get a Father's Day dinner to our Great Uncle in NC. They were so understand, helpful, and AMAZING. My Uncle called and he couldn't believe the amount of food that was sent. He said that restaurants never get the pasta cooked the way it should be and they did. We are so grateful for such wonderful and caring people that we will make it our business to go there when we are in NC. Thank you for making one Great Uncle happy on Father's Day. You make NY proud.
