Having lived in California. We moved here 7 years ago dissatisfied with most Mexican food. BUT....Papa's & Beer serves California Mexican about as good as you can get anywhere in the Carolinas.

A charming Mexican styled restaurant. Extremely large servings with faithful dishes reminiscent of true Mexican cuisine. This place took a lot of damage from Hurricane Helene back in September of 2024 and are still performing repairs from the damage so the building has seen better days. However this does not take away from the delicious food you will receive here.
