We were in the area and we thought we would try this restaurant. Our first thought was this place is a little dirty and the building is showing signs of neglect. There were hits and misses with our food. The server was helpful and nice. We would not return.

Great breakfast and sandwiches, too. Daily specials are amazing. I tried the chicken fried chicke, but it was cooked wrong. It was deep fried and overcooked. So, basically it was inedible.but, the environment was happy and the service was grand.

Ordered the Kitchen Sink omelette. As you can imagine itâs supposed to have everything in it. Well mine neither had bacon or the gravy thats supposed to come with it. Needless to say I was disappointed.

I was treated very well by the ladies of Pop's Diner and I am sending you love and gratitude.
To anyone reading this, this is an absolute A1 establishment and I would have breakfast here everyday if I could.

This place is set up to look like a retro diner. Turquoise seat cushions, black and white checkered floors, but there are tables instead of booths. There is also outside seating which is probably nice in the spring and fall. Although the service was a little spotty, the people were nice. Just forgot about us, I think. Now the food, the food was fantastic! I got the country fried steak and mashed potatoes. I think they used Yukon gold potatoes. They were lumpy, but tasted very good. And it was REAL steak that they country fried. I also got okra, which was better fried. Daughter got hand cut French fries; they were crispy and flavorful. (I stole a couple). She also got the hamburger steak, and they cooked it to order. We also got HOMEMADE lemonade that tasted great, and it came with free refills! Even a to-go cup of that lemony goodness! The only downside was that the place was dirty. The waitress swiped at the table and got it mostly clean, but the floor was greasy and had food and debris on it. However, that won't stop me from eating there again, I'll just probably sit outside. The food is worth going back there!
