Excellent food and ambience at this farm to table restaurant in downtown Hendersonville. Also an excellent wine list. our table of six had steak, pecan crusted trout, and brussels sprouts. All were terrific. Definitely make a reservation as this is a very popular place.

Close for a refresh we were anxious to try the new product. Postero did not disappoint and we look forward to another visit soon!

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday and informed ahead of time and once we arrived. Not sure if they do anything but it would have been nice to have someone say happy birthday at least.

Too much salt on all dishes. Could not finish the mushroom risotto and the broccoli soup was too salty. Shrimp and pasta also too salty. Cut back!

Menu is limited - I ordered pork chop (3/5 stars); my wife ordered steak (3/5 stars). Our friends who are both vegetarian ordered pasta and vegetable dishes modified by chef to meet their needs and they said the quality of food was very good (5/5 stars). Service was excellent!

Our experience was absolutely wonderful. We were a party of six and every person enjoyed their entre (all different) immensely. Terrific service. Ambiance a little noisy, but not unacceptable. We had dined at Shine the previous night and the difference was like night and day. Entrees ther not good and very noisy. If are ever in Hendersonville be sure to try Postero. You will not be disappointed. If we lived in the area we would be frequent diners. We hope that we have the occasion to visit agin in the future.

We always try to eat at Postero when we travel to North Carolina. It's one of our favorite places to eat. The staff is always friendly and helpful and very attentive. We've celebrated an anniversary and birthdays there. The food is always extremely good, and I so appreciate the variety in the menu based on seasonal availability. It's a place you can dress up or, in our case, drag in off the trail for a wonderful meal.

Excellent food, drinks, and service. We randomly came to Hendersonville, but will be coming back.

Such a culinary delight! We enjoyed our dinner very much! The cocktails were amazing and the shrimp Cacio e Pepe and the braised pork shank were delightful. I will be dreaming about this meal until we come up again this fall.

We have had great dining experiences here in the past, but I was disappointed with our birthday celebration date night dinner experience. We got off to a very rocky start because the front door is extremely heavy to open and in tugging very hard the sharp handle cut my left arm. Upon entering I was already bleeding and staining a beautiful brand new silk blouse. We made the hostess aware and asked for a bandaid. Later a manager stopped by to apologize and tell me there is a plan to replace the door. I showed him my very blood stained blouse. He never suggested paying the dry cleaning bill or made any attempt to comp a drink or dessert etc; Additionally, we waited 45 minutes beyond our reservation time to be seated on the main floor. The hostess staff here always acts aloof and perfunctorily. The bartender was very nice and helpful and the server was efficient. The food was OK, but not wonderful. I am sad to say we were underwhelmed and disappointed. Not sure we will venture back.

We celebrated an anniversary recently at Postero, and were pleased with the food and the service. But it is not a quiet or intimate place. We requested a quiet table for two when we made reservations, but I don't think one exists here. The hostess said there were lots of large groups, and seated us upstairs . The space is very airy and open, and our table overlooked the kitchen. The atmosphere was bustling, not really ambience you want for a romantic evening. That said, Whitney, our server, couldn't have been nicer. The steak and the wine were excellent, but pricey. And a nice personal touch came with our dessert-- an anniversary card signed by the staff.

There were four of us and we all pronounced our meals delicious: shrimp scampi, pork shank, salmon, and fried catfish with a side of potatoes and green beans. Wines by the glass were numerous and many were $10 for a generous pour. Our server Heather was professional and observant - there when needed but not intrusive. A little chilly in the restaurant however so women might want a light wrap.

Posters is so predictable: Service is excellent, food is exceptional and predictable (always good) and ambience is comfortable. Our favorite in Hendersonville, NC.
