Great place! Dog friendly, delicious wines. Recommend the test tube tasting!
Laid back and relaxing. Did the wine tasting and then sat back and enjoyed a bottle of our favorite. Loved that this vineyard specialized in the drier wines. Will be back when we come back to WNC.
Owner and staff exceptional! Brandy and wines delicious. Also, chocolates! Thank you for a memorable visit.
We stopped by St. Paul Vineyards and happened to meet Alan, the owner. To our surprise, he offered to take us on a personal tour! He showed us the vineyards, the cellar, and walked us through the whole winemaking process — from the oak barrels to the final pour.
Alan’s passion, humor, and easygoing nature made it such a fun and memorable experience. We left with great wine, big smiles, and the feeling that we’d just spent time with an old friend. Highly recommend!
Small and intimate vineyard with lovely vineyard views. Delicious wines and harmonic music for a mid-summer afternoon.
My search for the dry red wine ended here. The atmosphere was incredible and the wines were amazing. When I pictured good red wines this is what I pictured. Plus the bottle prices were pretty reasonable. Definitely need to stop here if you're out on the weekend looking for wineries. This is a must stop on your list for sure
Perfect
The wines here are so good and top quality I highly recommend coming here for some great local wines grown on the premises. The customer service is great and they're knowledgeable of all the different wines.
Very hospitable staff, delicious wines!
Last stop of the day on our self guided winery tour. Definitely the most relaxed casual of the bunch we visited. Kids everywhere, dogs everywhere. Reminded me more of a brewery than a winery. The live music was good and the wines were okay. If you wan to have a place to drink wine and you’re looking to bring the whole family I’d recommend this place.

Had the dry white sampler, super delicious wines and very cute little spot. We stopped on a Thursday just after opening but I would bet this place is super lively and fun on a weekend evening.
I’ve been visiting Saint Paul Mountain Vineyard every chance I get for 10+ years! The wines are fabulous, the employees knowledgeable, and the view of the vineyard intimate and refreshing even on a warm day. You will not regret a trip to this beautiful vineyard! And be sure to make a second stop at their cidery, Appalachian Ridge, right down the road.
A Great Place ! The staff are what you would hope for but not dare expect. Very relaxing, great product and varied choices. Go!
Nice place to visit. Worth a stop.
Beautiful estate grown wines! We did the dry red and dry white tastings and absolutely loved the VR, Fives Rows and Chestnut Gap - took home bottles of each. Honestly we enjoyed each of the 6 wines across the tastings- highly recommend! Also, check to see if their cidery down the road is open and head there after if so!
