Super service! And great wine😊.
Sawyer Springs Vineyard is the best winery in town! The antique barn is so peaceful and the wines are delicious! The service is out of this world and Paul, the wine maker is extremely knowledgeable and enjoys visiting with his customers. They even have a winery dog, Mae 💝
I thought the winery was very nice. Great decor, nice place to sit outside, and great service. The wines to me were just ok. I only drink red wines and all except 1 were very sweet. Was hoping for a more full bodied dry red wine and I couldn't find that here. Would have been 5 stars if they did.
Super friendly and great wine!
We visited Sawyer Springs today on our 22nd year anniversary trip and loved it! Jenny was our server. She was so sweet and knowledgeable about the wines. We bought three bottles to take home: a red, a white, and a sweet strawberry wine! All delicious!!! Thank you, Jenny, for taking great care of us!!!
We will be back!
Hospitality and service were incredible! Phone ate first and enjoyed the meat, jam, and cheese board.
This place is super cozy, we loved the dry wines.
We did a tasting and purchase.
But the atmosphere and service at this family winery was the cherry on top!!
We are visiting from out of town, wish we had this place in our town.
We highly recommend once you come and try their wines you will be hooked!!
Wish we found this beautiful little winery sooner. Owner Paul and his family & Co-Workers were so sweet & attentive. Answering all our questions and informing us on all their wine options. We got 2 flights and quickly found our favorites. Purchased a bottle to share. We had a great experience & the wine was amazing. Check this place out!
What a cute little hidden gem, dog friendly too! Family run, super cute, pretty outdoor area and good wine. Accidental find today, I feel lucky ❤️
Great place! Caters to locals, which I appreciate!

Great people and wonderful wine! My wife usually gets a headache from wine, but didn’t here! The owners were there and were very hospitable. Great selection, well priced, and generous pours!
Very great great winery, even with homemade tamales and great live music on weekends (Sunday)! Will come again and highly recommend for any near Asheville, NC (:
Wonderful atmosphere and such friendly owners!
This is such a sweet little vineyard. Having lived in California for a long time, it took me a bit of time to get accustomed to East Coast wines, and Ive learned I just need to embrace the difference! I’m not going to get a big Cabernet here, but I am going to get some wonderful sweet wines and crisp whites and other Wines that shine in their own way. (I will note here that they do have some reds and my friend really enjoys them).
Let’s talk about the space. My friend lives somewhat nearby, and so we will often meet here on a Friday afternoon over the years, and it’s such a warm and welcoming space. There’s an outdoor area and even the inside feels very open, because it is quite an open space. So lots of air, lots of lots of room, lots of light.
The servers are always in a good mood. Sometimes they’re a little too unobtrusive. I do like it when a server drops a glass and then leaves us to it, especially because it’s obvious we’re often deep in conversation, but sometimes I am looking at a bit of an empty glass, but it’s so casual here, that it would be no big deal for me to go to the bathroom and just ask them for another glass of something. Usually, there’s one person working, and a handful of guests scattered around, so the one person working certainly does not need to be hovering. Again, everybody’s always very very pleasant.
Pro tip: bring your own bottle of water; at some point they were charging for bottles of water, but that could’ve been a hurricane situation, I’m not sure. This could totally have been revised! And a lot of restaurants are charging for water after the hurricane, so just plan on bringing a bottle of water to most places you go in Asheville. The water is supposed to be drinkable now, but it’s always just a pro tip to bring a bottle of water wherever you go.
Go on a sunny day and sit outside and just enjoy some sweeter wines and soak in the hot day. It’s also rather nice in winter, though; the indoor space is cozy, but we prefer going in the summer and enjoying some sun on our faces and a refreshing glass of crisp white or sweet wine!
It was a pleasure to meet Paul and his daughter very knowledgeable even let us walk around and try grapes off the vine definitely will be coming back if you go there make sure you say hello to may
