I'd like for the owner to contact me. The waitresses here are rude and extremely unprofessional. I've sent a message on Facebook and have received no response.
My friend and I came for the Duke game tonight. The staff were AMAZING, kept the game on for us and served us delicious food and cold beer. The crowd was a bit abrasive but the manager quickly and efficiently cleared the bar of the racist, sexist drunk. I’ll for sure attend again for a game knowing I’m in good hands with the staff ❤️

I've been going to Tartans for quite some time now. Trust me on this - go for the soup. Doesn't matter what the soup du jour is, it's always satisfying. The burgers are also quite good. If one would like something that's not on the menu, just ask. Joe can come up with it, I'm sure. Jamie, Kayla, Erin, Taylor, and Joe put in a lot of work to take care of us Hendo folks. Wing nights can get hyper busy, so show these good people some grace! After dinner.. there's a little cigar shop right up the street that'll take care of you, but that's a separate review.

I have been there many times. The food is awesome, the staff is wonderful specials are wow, the sports are always on and your team can be put on the TV if you don't see it just ask, People are friendly, entertainment nights are so much fun my favorite is Karioke Tuesday, Oh gee I just don't know what to say!!! 😆
If it wasn’t for over crowded restaurants we would’ve never chose to eat here or even waste our time for that matter, we should’ve taken the lack of people in a BAR on a Friday night as our first clue. We sat down due to no sign indicating wait for a server, as the waitress made eye contact with us 2-3-4 times and still continued to walk past us and fail to even greet us, Finally after 15 minutes, another group sits they get their orders in we finally get acknowledged we order drinks and our meals due to lack in service and our drinks come half right, our dinner comes some time later delivered personally by the dopiest guy I’ve ever seen, high out of his mind, blank expression definitely lights are on but nobody’s home kinda dealio going on here we ask for mayo due to again lack in service mayo never comes, chicken wings are squishy, forgot half the meal of one of our dinners just over all a piss poor experience. If you enjoy being straight up ignored, poor quality food and the most unprofessional staff come here! They definitely should keep the bar back? Food runner? Whatever the hell it is in the back. Hiring people to run food under the influence of anything is outrageous let alone someone who clearly doesn't have any intentions on being helpful. And if he’s sober… good lord blessings to ya. Also WiFi sucks but thats the least of the worries (-; oh wait and those cute paper table covers yeah they don’t change those careful where you sit

I don't know it'd be a nicer place if they fired the bar staff. And hired in professionals.

Great food, Great folks, Great place to watch a game! We had stopped in once before when they were opening, but this was our first time at Tartan's to watch a game. As an LSU fan at Apple Fest I was happy to see an open table and the game on a big screen. When a table in front of us opened up I looked for our server to ask about moving. The owner noticed me looking and asked who I needed, and when I explained he sent us to the new table, and asked if we wanted a different game put on near us. I said no, and that I was there to watch LSU, so he left. Moments later the music went off and audio of the game came on in our area and he came back to make sure we could hear it saying that he knew we'd enjoy the game more with the audio on. How awesome is that??? Our hostess Kaylee and our server (I forgot her name - shame on me!) were awesome and provided excellent service the entire time even with festival crowds. I was set to order a Reuben because it was recommended....but after seeing wings delivered to a table nearby I changed my order. The Garlic-Parm wings were delicious. As advertised they were both "Jumbo" and "Crispy" and the garlic parm sauce was great. My wife got a burger and said it was very good. She even mentioned the bread specifically and we found out later that all their bread is flown in from New York so that must be why it stood out to her. We shared a plate of Philly Cheesesteak Fries and they were also delicious. Crispy shoestring fries topped with lots of meat, cheese, and peppers....so good!
The three things I hope for when dining out are; great food, served by great folks, at great prices, and I felt that Tartan's hit the target on all three. An owner interested and involved in providing great customer service was a bonus! It was a fun atmosphere to watch a game and enjoy good food and a cold beer. (or a few cuz I was staying a short walk away and didn't have to worry about driving!). Next time you're in the Hendersonville, NC area and looking for a place to watch a game, give Tartan's a try...I don't think you'll be disappointed! Try the cheesesteak fries! ;-)

Restaurantji Recommends
I wish I could say much, but being there for an hour getting our order taken from the bartender not writing anything down then never checking up or even giving any explanation when there were definitely not enough people to justify the wait. This place will inevitably be like many restaurants that don’t make it in the area.

Southwest quesadilla was really good, the wings were terrible, not crispy. Cool atmosphere for a game.

Fun bar that stays open late. We came for the Karaoke Tuesday night. The bartender Kim at Boodas referred us here. This place starts filling up after 10pm. The karaoke crowd is rowdy and fun. My only issue was the karaoke DJ was very unorganized. We waited almost an hr before being called to sing when there was hardly anyone there. Takes forever to get called to stage if your not a "local". She definitely has her favorites that were called up multiple times before we got called. Overall we would be back to see if this is a regular occurrence because the crowd was fun and responsive just don't want to wait and spend a whole night to sing 2 songs. Oh by the way the booze was really cheap. We had3 old fashioneds and with tip spent 20 bucks. Not bad.
